you can still get 1tnl to 71 if you have not completed Genkai:5

this is overlooked because coicidentally they aggro to sound as well

Most mobs that aggro thru sight or sound chase enemies by smell that is why if you get aggroed by an orc fodder then run in the river and out of site then the hate is erased

really didnt know that lol have try that next time im near some hungry looking skeles though could have sworn this mob was true sight.

I want 400 within 70 so I can do Escort and exp scroll it.. save myself on Vile Elixer etc.... soon as HP/MP are drained.. pop scroll.. voila!

this post makes me lol every time i read it. i can picture aly prancing through the tunnel only to turn pale as casper when she turns the corner. :P

Nope, i swear that is how he killed me, i was buffed with sneak and invis going thru the cave and i saw this thf get killed by him dlv to 74 and then he killed the 60ish whm

I run up to him with guivre having just finished off the whm, i send the thf a tell saying i will raise the whm to get him R2 so he can get his lv back, well as we are chatting guivre is walking past me up the slope to where the crabs are... he is about a good distance to where i assume he can't aggro me

I noticed that my sneak is wears off so i start to cast sneak and as soon as i cast it my invis wears off of course and that is when Mr. Badass Dragon just turned the $@$@ around and killed me in 3 hits. Then im "Oh noes im deadz lolz".

I wish i recorded that when that nm looking in the opposite direction just turned around and killed me. That was friggin hilarious

Go back and read the spell description for Sneak/Invisible again. I believe it goes something like this:

"Reduces the chance of being detected by sound/sight"

Maybe you got real unlucky... but i like chrono fantasy's explanation.

I've been aggroed by him with both sneak and invis up, when I ran right in front of him. Also, I've done the same thing later, and have him not aggro me. He may have conditional true sight/sound (see: ash dragon).
 
conditional? that is a new one on meh how does it work, at certain areas or times

The other day guivre ran right past me and didnt even poke me 0.0. I hit chainspell and was about to escape, but he kept walking. He was 2 inches from me and for 1sec I was in his face.

Okay, anyone know his pop conditions etc? Cause I very seriously want to set up a Guivre slaughter.
 
I would be willing to help you kill him 2 or 3 times for revenge. He's knocked my taru azz on my face a few times now.

I agree wholeheartedly with this post. I used to love skilling up scythe in there just watching him rape whatever gilsellers were around.
 
yeah, he kills gilsellers too. guess there is a little good in Guivre after all. :P
 
I remember the first time I walked through Kuftal. Bodies all along the way. I've never aggro'd him though. Funniest death by Guivre I've seen was probably Lyrai. She was raising some WAR and as soon as he gets raised Guivre ran by and raped them both.
 
I wonder if the GM's control Guivre... it's their tool to get back at us...
would explain the conditional true sight.. hehehhe

but yeah, if you see me on, and not in pt.. I'd love to help kill that bastard.. he's face planted me and my friends several times.. how can something that big sneak up on me?!
