Gundam 00 - Anyone watching this?

Right now they are on ep 14 And to me This show has potential to be one of the better Gundam Series.

Just wondering if i was the only one on QCDN watching this show?
 
I've been watching it since shortly after they started releasing episodes on AnimeSuki. I'll have to agree with you, it seems to combine the best of Gundam Wing and Gundam SEED, I'm looking forward to watching this one shoot up in popularity.
 
Yeah, I've been downloading the releases since it came out. Like the other series of Gundam its based on war and trying to end it. The mecha designs are nice, but its still early in the season. I hope the storyline develops quicker soon, more action then.
 
I'm watching it every week fansubbed. I like the new Gundam designs, especially Exia's. I also like the fact that they're not using made up calender dates (Cosmic Era, After Colony, etc). Rather, the show is set in the 2370s.
 
Yeah i really like this Gundam atm, And with ep14 out now the OP gave us a peek at the Throne Gundams.

Not sure what role thy play in the story yet but they look bad ass. but as of right now i dont think they are the mid series upgrades fro the gundam Meisters casuse theres only three of them and each Throne Gundam has its on Meister atm....

Always upgrade since like Zeta. Seriously, it's a Gundam tradition. I've always been a fan of the UC time lime myself and all its retellings.

Haven't been keeping up with this one though. Partly because I don't really like the designs. Except for Kyrios.
 
Also possible the 3 suits represent the AEU, Union, and HRL answer to the Gundams.

On the whole thus far it reminds of a less-awful Gundam Wing. Not exactly up to UC standards, but not as dreadful as most of the alternates.
 
naw the 3 Thorne gundams are of a diffrent branch of Celestial being, piloted by 3 new gundam meisters.

The 3 Throne Gundams can link up to power up the GN Cannon on Throne gundam Zwie to Mega GN Cannon with 2x gundmas linked, and Hyper Mega GN Cannon with 3 Gundams linked
 
I started watching. Idk the first couple of episodes were kinda boring. The mechs are meh. So far this is no Gundamn Seed Killer. I don't know why they can't get from a couple of psychotic kids in every series, I am gundamn, must kill, must kil. I will do my best
 
Yeah gundam 00 does start kinda slow compared to seed... where there isnt a friggin colony exsploding (Heliopolis)

But the character development in 00 is almost on par with the Original series. Real stratageis are used in the gundam interventions, the Gundams arnt OMG unkillable either. In the latest episode the Gundams accually get their asses stomped into the ground buy a bunch of grunt units. ..... Granted the gundams were in combat for over 15 hours straight....

Characters have more of a backstory and so far it seems on course that every gundam/ Gundam Meister has their own personal Rival....... one might say their own personal Char.

There is more fanservice than Seed... granted Seed had Murrue Ramius and the incredible Zero-G bouncyness, and Meer Campbell(Fake Lacus) .. 00 kills seed in fanservice with the other people in Celestial Being.

And While Strike-Freedom is quite possibly the most badass Gundam of all time... Gundam Nahdeel comes in a very close second... And we havent even seen the Throne Gundams or Avalanche Exia yet.
 
Bump. Season 1 is done now. Why do I feel like I was punched in the stomach?
 
I know, Marajade. I was just happy to see that Nena and Tieria stuck around. We just have to wait for October for the 2nd season to start...and I really don't want to wait that long. Gundam 00 has turned out to be my favorite series since Kaleido Star.
