I don't really come to these boards very much anymore since I quit FFXI a long while back, although I've been thinking about the game lately and I really miss it, but besides that. I just wanted to wish all Canadians out there a Happy Canada day! As for myself, I live in Mississauga, Ontario, but I'm stuck working today soon during Canada day, but I'm going to get paid double time and a half, yay!

There's this large famous chinese buffet restaurant called Mandarin, and they are giving out free meals all day, and my girlfriend and I went there to wait for it to open 2 hours before it opened, but it's so busy that the line up was very long, so my girlfriend and I just decided to leave.

If you're Canadian, what plans do you have for Canada Day?

I'm trying to get a BBQ going with my friends but they are failing.

YAY Happy Happy Joy.. wait.. Happy Canada Day!!!!!!!!!111one1!

I'm proud to be

My plans are simple, later I will joining my family (bf and his family) at their place where we're going to jam ;p

This evening we're going to see Transformers.

Usually each year we go to Ching park for the free concert (this year its Amanda Marshall) and fireworks. Went last year and saw Burton Cummings of the Guess Who, pretty cool.

I live in Brampton, crappy old Brampton.

Sucks some have to work today, I wish all those stuck at work a great Canada Day, feed off others excitement. I know WAAY back when I worked Bar I always got stuck working Canada Day, but hey I almost always made over $500 in tips and had a blast!

Cheers Canadians!

I'm working today, but get Friday off instead. It's in my best interest though, as the weather is quite miserable today anyways.

If it's not raining tonight, going to go out on a nice boat on Lake Simcoe and watch the fireworks.

Now THAT sounds like a plan.

Heheh Prop when I was much younger we used to take our boat down to Lake Ontario to do the same. I would lay back and could hear the gas splashing against the tank under my head as we sat anchored with the motor off.. I would ALWAYS freak myself out by thinking of Jason Takes Manhattan and how he was under the boat and going to climb over the edge and grab me!! lol

Vivid imagination!

Now I really do wish though I was going to be on the water tonight too. I hope the weather holds out for you!

You need some starter fluid. Then, get some kindling and put it around your friends.

Shove a rotisserie up their asses and wabam - Friend BBQ.

That's so cool that you live in Brampton, I used to live in Brampton too for most of my life, about 12 years, so I'd say nearly half my life. Then a couple years ago I moved to Etobicoke, lived there for about two years, and just moved on my own to Mississauga this year in March, and now I live with my girlfriend too.

I lived all over the place in Brampton/Bramalea. I used to live by Ching park too, I used to be able to walk to Bramalea city center in about 10 minutes. What school did you go to Morcheeba? When I was in High school (Graduated in 2005) I went to Central Peel Secondary School.

Huh I went to Central for my first year then switched to North Park to finish. I found Central too lackadaisical... no one seemed to care there, not the teachers not the students.

I moved to Brampton from Dundalk at 8, went to Agnes Taylor, then Sir John A MacDonald Middle then Central.

tbqh I never much liked the Bramalea area, was always an old town Brampton girl growing up.

The best part is I could see Myrrh impaling a good friend for the betterment of a Canada Day barbecue.

Yay for Canada! Probably going drinking with my friends later! :)

Man, they're giving out holidays for everything these days...

Shut up Lucki, you will take it as an excuse to drink anyway.

You're right. I'll celebrate by drinking a superior American microbrew!

That's a shame, you should really try some of our beer.
