Actually, I'm probably one of the few in the south who can't stand nascar...
 
Technically Delaware is south enough to be NASCAR territory.

Personally I'd just as soon arrange a small thermonuclear accident at Dover International Speedway during the off-season.
 
I glance at Nascar occasionally in hopes of seeing a big wreck, but I 've seen plenty of cars around painted to look like Dale Earnhart's.

My dad used to race cars in Wales, he hates Nascar with a passion lol. Omg how many Sunday mornings did I wake up to hear the British/Italian/insert European country here's Grand Prix at 5:00am. Thanks dad.

hey they races road courses to, like 3 of em >_>

BUT even the super speedways require an extreme amount of skill, going 200 mph in a pack of 40 cars all inches from one another, sometimes actually pushing the car in front of them, the way the cars are setup to be on the absolute edge of control threw the turns. most formula 1 drivers that come to nascar, SUCK for their first 2 or 3 years and talk about how much more difficult and nerve racking nascar racing is then formula 1. but yeah, when nothing happening a nascar race on tv can put me to sleep to. Actually BEING there tho, totally different story, they are a blast to go to.

and on a side note, formula 1 would race those tracks if they could. they tried racing at texas motor speedway but they were going SO fast threw the turns and pulling SO many g's that drivers were blacking out in the middle of the turns, they had to ban fomula 1 cars from the track.

Thats cause you're so drunk you dont remember it. you start drinking at 8am the saturday before, and dont stop till you leave to go home
