Happy Canada Day!

So...

Bags > Jugs > Cartons?

Also, can you get chocolate milk in bags? o.o

why yes you can =)

@Thelona - I think I have a good idea to which you refer ;p

I buy my milk by the half gallon, in cartons. Cartons with little plastic screw tops on them.

Edit: And why is it that every conversation about Canada somehow turns into a conversation on bagged milk? o_O;

I couldn't tell you why but I've noticed the same thing heh.

Bagged Milk and Ketchup Chips are our trade mark.. aside from Maple Syrup but I don't like Maple Syrup much so that example sucks.

Bags of milk seem like they would take up way more room in the fridge than Cartons or jugs of milk. And what do you do if you don't use all the milk in the bag? Now you've got this bag of milk with a hole in it...

This has been bugging me too. Sometimes all I want is just a small glass. Are there Canadian rules to the art of drinking milk?

"Thou shalt not drinketh from the bag of milk unless thou drinketh the whole bag."

and ya'll do bacon wrong

Yeah... sorry about the milk de-rail. ~. ~;

I don't know, something about leaving dairy unsealed in the refrigerator just mortifies me. I remember one time at work some idiot left a pot of fish bones in MY pastry fridge as a joke - I had to throw out pretty much everything that had dairy in it, plus all my eggs the next morning because they absorb odours like crazy. So fired that guy.

they used to give you the jug for free if you got milk delivered lol

Yeah bags of milk = fail. Wouldn't be able to deal with that. Besides, if it ain't Cravendale I ain't drinking it!

ARG I was going to post a bag of milk in the milk jug ... but we just bought 2 cartons lol

So wait.. you buy a bag of milk... and then a carton to put the bag of milk in... Why not just skip the bag and use the carton?

In conclusion: Canada r stupid

I have had the jug for several years. I think I paid $1.75 for it maybe...

Cartons are much more expensive, imo the milk doesn't stay any fresher really. 1ltr of milk doesn't last long enough for the tiny cut in the corner to effect the product.

So.... yeah I'm about saving a buck.

I wouldn't really know the in's and out's of the keeping and purchasing of milk products. Lactose Intolerant ftw! (not really ftw, actually major fail)
