no, Shyrra got it right.. the Phase 1 Dig area is where I was told to go find the mark (from the people that gave me the bill) and there are magical horses and bats there.. but no mark T.T damn mindflayer
 
it's not hard to find, you hit the switch and go into the little loop instead of the doors that move you onward... found and killed him np not an hour ago....

Can't believe nobody said Cluckatrice O .o That thing (fighting it as a lvl 9-10 party) is insane. I still haven't beaten it I just skipped it and said I'd come back sometime... never for its bounty. I only just got myself into the mines in Burjehba though so, here's hoping I can come back for it ^^

I see, I didn't realize the bounty was in a similar location. My apologies.

So far actually now, hardest boss for me was Mateus. I actually lost to her and had to come up with a new plan. Fortunately, I did a Luminescense skillchain on one of the elementals, and one shotted them all, leaving me with Mateus alone to deal with. Wasn't difficult after that. Just that first time not knowing what to expect, jesus sleegpa, blizzara, the works. Ouch X.x.
 
that carrot hunt was tough :P at least since I had no quickenings so when it doubled its level.. hah fun

my MP is around 200 :P and I have 30 ethers and some hi-ether and elixirs :D randomly walking around ftw! and buying Ethers from that hidden merchant in the place and/or the clan sales person ftw! :D

Why don't you just get the quickenings and not use them...? >.> It ends up being about the same thing. One case you use your MP because you have more of it; in your case you use the same amount of MP you would use if you had the tripled max bars but you use Ethers to refill it.

I can understand the not wanting to use Quickenings. I don't like to use them either (even tho they look sweet).

Give in! Just get them for the MP bars! lol

is the ether merchant and farming maximillian armor the only reason for this place? i assume i'll do plot here later but for right now i can't seem to find these door keys anywhere... it's annoying, i don't want to progress the plot but i think i need to if i want to get any more of the optional espers (on my way up mt O-something in the plot)
 
he's in that.. umm.. Hall of Effulgent light at the northern most part.. where there's a little room ther'es a hidden room and he's in a corner of it after you check a ??? :D

hehe, I killed things.. I wonder.. can you get more than one zodiac spear since those things come back over and over if you go 3 or more zones away?

Pretty sure that's a no since you have to skip so many chests just to have legitmate -access- to it. I personally didn't give a damn and just opened them anyway >.>..
 
actually you don't have to skip any chests :P you just have a less chance getting it each time.. atleast.. that's what I read O.o

No, you get those chests and you cant get the spear in Nabudis anymore.

You can still get it somewhere else, but the chest has 10% chance of popping.

Of that, 10% of the time it will be item, 90% will be gil.

Of that 10% item, 90% will be something else, 10% will be the Zodiac Spear.

So that brings your chances of getting the spear to 1/1000.:biggrin:
