I am only 5 chapters in so far. But I love it. Its the best opening a Potter book has ever had as I said. Its so cool, I can barely hold myself back from reading the rest.

I am pretty tired of the previouse books' "Dursleys -> Hogwarts -> study -> fight scenes -> problem solved" pattern , and I guess the last book won't be in the same loop since Harry is not going to sit in Hogwarts and get his exam done =_=, yay.

I've only read the photographed copy of the epilogue (yes I always start a book from the end, lol), it really looks like a fanfic to me. Maybe after so many deaths JK felt the need to comfort the children, lol. Anyway, after BK6 we had the idea how "good" JK is when writing romance..

Few days before I knew that this is the real copy... well, even it turns out to be a fake one, I DO admir the effort of the people who made an actual book including illustration ..

JK haven't had illustration in any of her books (except the front) >.O I somehow doubt its the real one in that case. Unless this one includes illustrations for whatever reason. I haven't read this one yes, though. Been too busy with rl to pick my copy up yet =/

It was the US child version by Scholasitic, which includes an illustration in every
chapter by Mary Grandpre (same artist who did the US cover illustration, the orange one in BK7 if you saw it before), from BK1 to BK6.
(/sigh actually I like the US version more, but here in Hong Kong I can only preorder the UK version.)

Well, just finished reading it. Wow, that was really epic. I was entertained the whole way through, even the predictable parts! Much much better than the 6th book. I won't say anything else to prevent spoilars.
