Have you ever been chatting on IM, typing a message, or talking verbally irl and found yourself suddenly using auto-translate phrases in conversation? Have you ever found yourself talking about FFXI somewhere other than game and and pressed tab to use the auto-translate feature to complete a place or item name?

Lol I just did this earlier today, I went to type Beaucedine Glacier in a post, couldnt remember the exact spelling got to Bea and hit Tab...

And I know for sure that "Thanks for the offer but I'll have to pass" wasn't in my vocabulary before FFXI.

On the other hand, I hit tab to use the auto-translator and it works just fine, OpenOffice.org ftw.
 
lol ive hit Esc on AIM way too many times. Also i found myself typing /l in a conversation on aim... and I didnt catch myself lol.

I do this crap ALOT lol
 
I used to constantly hit Ctrl+L when typing on AIM. Luckily not so much anymore.

i do that WAAAAY too much. same with hitting tab for stuff.

as for the auto translate function... lmao...

"dude, that test was so hard"

"yah man, it was incredibly tough. Impossible to gauge even"

or even "nah. it was too weak"

Yes, happens to me all the time lol

Tab and Esc are the ones I press more and accidently close the window in IM chats... it's annoying lol
 
Lol its especially annoying on Trillian when you have one window up for multiple people, then all the sudden u hear the noise of someone coming online and IMing you at the same time, hoping its someone new and important, only to discover it was that lameass R-tard friend of yours that wont leave you alone >.<
 
i've taken to playing startcraft every now and then. needless to say my typing was weird my first few days. :P
 
I had FFXI going on PS2 and was talking to a friend on MSN on my computer, and I meant to type something to a friend in /t in FFXI but accidently typed it on my computer to a friend on MSN, and then I said: mt. after that, lol.

I was talking to a co-worker about something, I went to say "black dude" but instead said "black mage". I've called my buddies "white sentinel badge" a couple of times too.

I usually hit Tab now and then, no bigger

i stopped with the accidental Esc Key on aim XD but beforei keep doing that

i also di /l or /p time to time, but not as much as Tab key :P
