Diablo 2 (without the expansion) installs all fine and dandy, but its when Im installing the expansion that I get a couple problems.

First, Ill let it be known that I cannot find my expansion disc, so I *BAD THING* a LoD image, and put it on a CD. (I do still have the legal CD key, though)

Anyway, when Im installing the expansion, about 3/5 of the way through, it stops reading from the CD (the Diablo 2), and no popup is shown to insert expansion disc.. Eh, I wait a while, and it still doesnt show, so I just open the drive. After I open the drive, the popup comes up, "Insert expanion disc." Okay. I do. But nothing happens... Oh well.

I try again, and the second time it installs the expansion without the need of changing discs at all... Which was odd. After it installed, and I tried to run Diablo 2, an 'error' came up. This is what it looked like.

??????II ????, ???????

Noooooooooo idea. Uninstalled completely, and am trying again. Anyone know whats up?

Edit: Okay, Im guessing its due to the copyright junk... Ill definitely have to find my real disc, wont I?

I remember having an error trying to run Diablo 2 on this computer. Dont run it from the link it installs on your desktop/start menu. Actually go into program files and run it straight from there. Thats what worked with mine, if it does work, you can link that straight back to desktop so you dont have to be going into loads of folders every time.

I can play Diablo 2 (without the expansion) fine and all, but I cant when I install the exp. :( No matter where I run it from, be it the desktop, start menu, or straight off of the CD.
