I've not really tested out any of the .dat files available for ffxi. So I saw the thread for the wings mod and I had to have it. So I downloaded it but....now I don't know where to put it. Can someone tell me where to put the dat file, or how to put it in and what not. Please? lol

I've installed the game and registered, but whenever i click on play it says it needs to update, it starts checking the files and then around 35% of the way i get a pol error message saying the network is busy or i need to check my cables and connections. I even reinstalled it and tryed again...
