NA FFXI installing EU WotG work?

My friend couldn't wait for PC NA version of wotg, so can you able to install EU version of WotG on NA FFXI?

Any info will help, thanks
 
Yup. Just gotta make registry edits.
 
I'd suggest your friend to learn a little patience.
 
With some simple regedits, yes you can.

I did it. You need to copy the PlayonlineUS file. Then open it in notepad, change the US to EU and then merge it into the regedit again.

You will effectively have pol us and pol eu and you can install the eu wotg and play on the US one ^^

What's the rush?

It's not like all the missions are in. You'll get 5-10 in and then have to wait 2 months.

Eh, but theres other stuff to do then just the missions. :|
 
Missions, to me at least, is what makes an expansion worth it. I like a good story...

Addendum: It's not like all the battlefields and events are in. sup toau.

The only thing you could possibly do is be one of the sleep skipping losers that'll get one or both of the new(and incomplete) jobs to 75 in a few days.

So I ask again, what's the rush?

I dunno about other people, but heres why I'm rushed. I plan to go in:


-Unlock new jobs

-Make money off fools

-Explore some areas

-Make more money off fools

-Kill some stuff
(Whose drops in turn will help me make money off fools)


And yeah...I want in before everything plummets:cool:
 
i just finished installing my euro version and successfully registered it.now its just a matter of time muahaha but yeah it works
 
the registration screen is really laggy, lol. "The network is busy"
 
Some people just like being in on the ground floor of new content. There's no harm in it, so let the impatient people have their fun.

There's also all the new possible merit spots. I remember when ToAU were first released, and Mamool Ja Staging Point was all empty.

New WoTG NM's will be freshly spawned, some peeps race to find and be the first to kill them.

The fun part is not knowing which are level 80+ and which are level 14 lol.


Anyway, scholar and dancer unlocks probably.. and I'll do a few missions if peeps are lfm. And money whoring off new items to overly eager fools.
