Question on installing .dats

I've not really tested out any of the .dat files available for ffxi. So I saw the thread for the wings mod and I had to have it. So I downloaded it but....now I don't know where to put it.

Can someone tell me where to put the dat file, or how to put it in and what not. Please? lol

It's not that hard R's and L's = W's and you = ewe.

And next time it would be nice if you posted something worth while and on topic, I do kinda wanna know how to install those .dat files.

Open up modle viewer find your chacter and then choice the peice of armour you want to replace with the new .dat u get 1-54-23
Thats modll viwer number u need for mithra RSE lv 1 body

i circled it in red

for example so go to MY pc> programs>

play online>

SE > FFXI > rom 1, 2 or 3 whats the first didgit (1 is FFXI 2 is Zilart 3 is cOP) then the second file number so 1 54 be rom 1 file 54 then find file 23 rename it ie orignal 23 then copy and paste in your new .dat file and call it 23 and it will work
