I believe that statement to be absolutely correct, unless you end up still living in your parents basement. In which case the real world can't reach you to pull your head out of your ass. Teenagers by definition are ignorant and presumptious, it's not an insult it's all but a fact, there are VERY few exceptions to the rule.
Ignorance past living in the real world is a choice. Ignorance before living in the real world is simply the nature of the beast. There's no shame in admitting that most teenagers are just balls of hormones with opinions, short fuses, and usually poor gramatical and spelling skills. I'm comfortable saying i used to be one, we all did, it's a fact of nature. Unfortunately the clarity of this statement does not actually hit you until your out of the teenage woods for at least a few years. Which was ultimately the point of my statement, but since i couldn't get away with making it two lines you made me write a book.

So you admit that there are exceptions then? If there are exceptions then that would make your statement about all teenagers being ignorant false, would it not?
