For a long time i have had a love hate relationship with Glenn Beck because he is a lot of the things i hate about the republican party but at the same time he is one of the few voices that is getting the issues that i care about into the forefront. However today i stumbled across this recording which i am told was from his radio show sometime this week but i missed it. He actually apologizes to libertarians and Ron Paul for the way that he treated him during the 08 campaign and states that his ideas may not have been crackpot like he originally stated.
It is true that his shows are getting further and further towards libertarian and his ratings are continuing to climb... I think he has the second highest rated "news" show on television atm and he is in one of the worst possible time slots.
Beyond that what this interview was precursing was the great news that has been happening in the last two weeks where John Stossel (my favorite media person) has left ABC and joined Fox Business where he will have his own show. Beyond that they also have picked up Cody Willard, Judge Andrew Napolitano, and Tucker Carlson in the last year. With this all in mind i cannot think of an overly Neo-Conservative person they have picked up in that same time period other than Huckabee.
So my question is with Beck apologizing to Libertarians, tons of outspoken libertarians getting their hired to the network, and Fox's ratings improving over the same time period is this the beginning of a major paradigm shift (for the better) at Fox?
