As an aside, who in this game ACTUALLY cares about cheating anymore anyway. Feels dumb critisizing Kaizen when it's a proven fact all of you drama lovin tools don't care when your LS-mates do if it gets you your gear faster. Yeah hypocrisy stinks but don't be one yourself. It's just circular self ownage, made worse if your LS is actually worse than them.
Next, dirty laundry. ALL LS have this, including ex members with a chip on their shoulder. It's impossible for any LS NO MATTER HOW HARD THEY TRY to make a 100% fair system. Why, cause people try to take advantage of the systems in place. People play games with points to edge out LS mates, and you can't force people to stay after they get gear. So people will hate on each other. Is Kisada a line jumping douche? Who knows, who cares? One thing is for sure, if you look at FFXI as a job and gear as payment, you, my friend are fucked. If it's not fun then DON'T DO IT. Take it from someone who got all gear for all jobs, it's very hollow. It doesn't make the game better.
It actually gives you stress. I always felt obligated to live up to standards I felt expected to meet. My thunder 4 always needed to do more than the others blms or I thought people would be dissapointed. Wanting the gear causes all this drama, but the gear does nothing to make you happy. You just want the next item. Then you have it all and the game loses purpose, but you stay to help friends who just bicker over who gets what.
But lots of people just enjoy events. If you have people like that, you have the real BEST ls, more important than killing AV. So if the drama starts to consume you, take a step back and remembers your priorities.
And don't hate on other LS even if they deserve it. Be friendly, they'll be friendly back. It'll wind up better for all.
