I remember some of these names. If memory serves me right not many we're fond of me. I harbor no ill will toward you though.

So glad I was able to remember my password. I will be going to the Gungnir server when ffxiv restarts. Good luck with the site Shaggy. I will be sure to check back occasionally.

Srsly though, we should have a general amnesty while we're at it. Unban everyone. Hell, I'd even be curious what's up with Wolfskymoon after this long, lol.

I second that! Even if all hell were to break loose well they/he, our new mr man could clean house again if necessary ;p
 
Wolfskymoon... Why does that name sound really really familiar?
 
He was one of our various... well, village idiots is the phrase I would use ordinarily, but let's say rather than he was a colorful personality who tended to get in trouble.
 
Mass Unbanning/Unleashing of hell while bringing back the flameboard.... I would like to throw some logic at the illogical again!
 
I can't say I have that problem Rappa.

Even though I stopped playing XI years ago and only played XIV briefly, I still find myself drawn to check this site and see what's up with some of the XI acquaintances and other internets peoples that I have enjoyed talking with about Off Topic things like Anime, Manga and other Video Games.

Thank you Shaggy for fixing this place and good luck in restoring it's former glory.
 
Change permissions so everyone can see the recycle bin forum part that has all the juicy flame board posts! And change the contact email address for questions so I don't get them anymore. :(
 
BRING BACK BLAZN!

I miss this site... though it would be hard to bring back those old days since I don't play FFXI anymore and there's no definitive FFXIV server. Back in the old days I was on this forum nearly 24/7. We had a strong Quetz community at FFXI's peak with all sorts of personalities pollut-er-visiting this site. The Flameboard was our big attraction.
Now we're too divided/faded.
 
I am willing to bring back the flameboard, but want to get it setup where members are attacking one another. I know that maybe impossible to do for the sound of it. :)

You mean instead of dropping names that don't frequent the site? Yeah sounds like a stretch. You'd have to have an admin that monitors registered members vs name drops if that's the case.

Like I said to you before, quite a few of the long term members of this community were flamed and that's how they came to know of the site lol.

What's hilarious is that he actually recently started playing again. I'm sure if someone gave him the link to the new site he would definitely show up.


Anyway, I too came because of the email I received! Sadly I just got perma'd for being in an RMT afk cleave party the other night hahaha. Ahhh 7 years of playing with a few breaks in between down the drain.
 
Damn, that's rough. I thought I spent a long time having been with the game for 4 years. XI is still the MMO I've stayed with the longest, and I've got a rather long list of MMO's that I've played over the years.
