I know there are some of you who are alot more computer organized then myself and I need a little help here. There is some Trojan/Virus on my PC that is located in System32 called k08n55olg.exe It won't let me delete it and McAfee won't delete it so I really need some help on how do i get rid of this thing. Please help me out if you know how to get rid of this shit. I need it off my PC asap.

You try deleting it in safe mode?

You are talking to the computer challenged woman here. Safe Mode? how do i get to safe mode?

Reboot your computer and when it first starts up, just keep hitting F8. It will ask you how you want to boot. It will have your OS to start normal, Safe Mode, Safe Mode with Networking and other random things. Select start in Safe Mode. It will boot up your computer with minimum services and drivers and such. Try to delete it that way.

Mcfee is crap try downloading some free stuff like ad-ware SE from download.com and AVG from AVG.com i think for antivirus. thoes 2 should get it i believe

Does that mean i have to uninstall McAfee? Because it's paid for by the company and don't want to have to kill these people.

no you do not have to uninstall mcfee

ok in progress of downloading AVG stuff i'll let you know what happens
Thank You all that responded much appreciated.:wink:

You don't have to uninstall McAfee, but you do have to disable it before you run AVG, or the 2 programs will fight to the death on your computer.

In my opinion AVG is shit, at least the free version, McAfee is anoying but still better. I use Norton.

Looks like so far so good also using Foxfire now. If IE is causing all these problems just best to not use it. Thank you all again.

one more thing, so AVG found...BHO on my PC and it's located now my question is what happens if i delete the file for example
dsoundc.dll
drmv2cltq.dll

what happens to my pc?

Do you have the Trojan.Win32/AgentADH on those? As far as I know, those two if you typed correctly, are mimics of real files that are necessary, but those two should be removed.

dsoundc.dll is a mimic of dsound.dll which is a Direct X DLL which adds Direct Sound functionality.

drmv2cltq.dll is a mimic of drmv2ctl.dll which is your Digital Rights Management

I use bullguard.... no problems so far, it is a bit expensive tho ;_;
