Heroes Season 2 (Possible Spoilers)

D'oh, that's right. Thanks :)

Yeah, alchemy definitely sounds more viable. I said "Midas Touch" because it sounds so cool :D

When I first saw it that is what I thought as well. Then I started thinking about it and it seemed to simple for the show.

In other news, I love you sweetie :)
I love you too. :)

Sylar's mom did have the ability to stop him from becoming worse and worse but she had to tell him to be special. He is kind of torn between wanting to be normal for himself and wanting to be special for his mom. I also think the corruption of the powers he had and maybe still has access to is feeding into his wanting to become the ultimate evolved person.

I agree Alejandro does seem the more likely candidate for dying. They definately gave Maya more of a part to keep around.

I just want to know if Nathan's face actually looked like that or is he just delusional.

I would say Mr. Parkman has more then just telepathy. He is definately the one who has something to do with the older generation dying. He may not have been the one who pushed Kaito off but he had something to do with it. He also had something to do with Mama Petreli being attacked. I am sure telepathy has some sort of role is his abilities which would explain the roaches if he can talk to insects as well.

I would definately say Bob has alchemy and not just the midas touch. I think midas touch is just too simple for the show.
I agree with pretty much everything that you posted here. Sylar's powers probably do mess with his mind.

I want to know if the reflection of Nathan's face is real as well.

Matt's dad's power is probably more than just telepathy but I wasn't sure how to say it. I have a theory that he was somehow using Molly to find the others. Not sure how he would do it though. That's why I think that she keeps having the nightmares.

I thought this was really funny from Greg Geeman's blog http://gregbeeman.blogspot.com/2007/10/season-2-episode-4-kindness-of.html

I don't think that with this new villain that Sylar will continue to be the bad guy. I'm willing to bet that he helps stop Matt's father. He'll become the antihero!

Dam Right! It can happen because this season the HEROES have their hand full with a lot of bad guys. Sylar Antihero sounds cool, then he can go back with his murderous ways... XD

Nathan's face could be a product of Nightmareman's plan. But my friend at work says it's a moral battle within himself, because of the bad things he has done and the new him. He's seeing like the old Nathan whenever he looks at himself in the mirror.

I think Nathan's disfigured face was the product of Peter going boom. And that's why he grew such a big beard, to try and hide from himself. Now that he's trying to get his life back on track, he's gotta face it.

I've been wondering....
So that group that Kaito, Angela, Matt's dad, everyone else is in...

They're all parents of the heroes, right? Do/did they have powers themselves? Or did they in some way genetically alter their children?

The latter seems somewhat unlikely because Kensei, centuries in the past, has powers, he couldn't have had a genetic experiment done on him >.>

But maybe the parents provoked the genetic mutation in the kids? It can't just be coincidence...
This makin' sense? >.>

Was it explained before, either?

I think its quite obvious some of them had powers. Matt's dad have powers as explained in the recent episode. Nathan and Peter's father did not have powers, he got dragged in to the whole thing through Linderman while they were in the military. We really don't know whether or not Angela Petrelli have any powers yet, but it is likely, due to both Nathan and Peter having powers, which leads me to believe they inherited it from their mother, considering the Linderman group knew they would grow in to powers. Its also likely Hiro's father have powers, since he said "I never thought it was you that would continue the legacy"

True what Uzor said. What is making me think right now is the role of the Deveaux family in all this secret group thing. The only hint of power Charles showed in season 1 was when he "saw" Peter in his dream(?). Simone went to her grave without showing any. The best thing they could do with this is reveal them in key moments one by one. I like mysteries. ^^

I think it's been hinted at that Papa Patrelli had some sort of power, though you could be right. Angela has a power, she and Claire had a conversation about it in the past episodes. The pure genetics of it are kind of scarce right now. We know that Micah is the product of two 'Heroes,' but that's the only family where we really know both parents besides Claire, who's parents both have powers as well. Most of the other Heroes only have one parent that's active. But, Molly's mother did not have powers as Sylar just stuck her to a wall with knives and took her father's brain. Though, she could've not been her real mother.

I'd think its likely that it works like normal genetics. If one parent have a trait, you're not necessarily guaranteed to get it. Molly's father clearly had a power due to his eaten brain, so she could have inherited it from his father. Both parents having an ability simply increases the chance their offspring will have a power, but doesn't guarantee it.

Well, that episode was full of epic and win. Next Monday is going to kick so much ass.

Little miss blondie annoys me with her eyelashes and blond hair D:

Next episode looks way more kickass~

I think that preview means Alejandro is going to die unless he can get his sister to not trust Sylar so much.

So with enough practice Matt could become pretty powerful. His dad really did a number on the two of them.

Although that's assuming Matt's dad didn't lie :P But yeah, I think Matt can become quite powerful. Now he's learned how he can make people hear him as well.

Personally, I'd have to say Matt's dad wasn't lieing about having the same ability. When Matt tried reading his mind, he got feedback, like when you put a mic in front of a speaker, to which Matt's dad replied "Yeah, painful. Isn't it?". Which I find quite interesting. That must mean he's met people with similar abilities before, and experienced it.

Although that raises another question, can Matt evolve his powers further and see what images people are seeing, and send images he himself are seeing to other people, thus making people see what he want to see? That's awfully similar to Candice's ability.

Candice ability was to make you see what she wanted. Matt's dad is more about sticking images in your mind and reading. Matt's dad can trap you in your own mind like he did with Molly.

When Matt tried to read his dad's mind is was sort of like when Peter and Matt were together. It would make sense that Matt's dad would have similar experience. Matt's dad could enter Molly's dreams what was to stop him from looking into Peter's only getting an awful feedback from that.
