It is a movie he will be in Geneviene. He will be missing part of this season. It is also the reason David Anders went from temporary character to season regular.
I have been thinking about Hiro and his part in the Kensei legend. I think Hiro is going to represent the dragon. The dragon is what made Kensei the hero is was to become and Hiro did that. The write up for the 7th episode says the Hiro/Kensei saga comes to a dramatic end.
/cheer on him being bad?
Iunno, would be a nice plot twist. Especially since there will apparently be a "dramatic end" between Hiro and him.
Personally, I think it'll play out as I said. He'll love the Japanese woman, and Hiro will also love her, which Kensei will find out. Hiro will try to take her away from him for whatever reason, at which point Kensei will cut his heart out to prove how much he loves her.
Kensei, now lacking a heart, thus "lacking emotion", will turn evil, and try to seek Hiro out, due to knowing he's from the future, and kill him, due to blaming him for something that happened between him and his love.
Iunno, that's what I hope will happen. Hiro needs more enemies

and I like plot twists <.< Hiro having his largest role model as an arch enemy would be the perfect thing to change him from a sweet pussy to a tough hero.
Besides, that would explain a lot. Kensei, wanting revenge, kills Hiro's father. He pushes him over the edge, thus falling with him as well. But due to his regenerative powers, he gets away unharmed. He also seeks out the others in his group, due to them being connected to something larger.
It explains a lot imo. Kensei used the sign as his back when he first discovered his powers, so he uses it as his symbol, and paints it on the faces on the people he want to kill.
Edit: god damn, while I was writing this up, 2 others posted something similar -.-;
