Heroes Season 2 (Possible Spoilers)

I cant wait for the next season to see Peter just go on a rampage against the company. They are really in for it now.

ps - Stine and Jamba, thx for the Season 3 previews, it really made my (and my co-workers) day at the office.

When's the next season kicking up ?

Thank ye!

I read somewhere Villains is only supposed to be about 12 episodes. I am guessing season three will be Volume 3 and 4. I hope they don't only due 12 episodes for the whole season.

I'm thinking season 3 is going back to season 1's goodness. Like, changing a set predicament. The paintings of the future can still be around, Peter paints now.

actually, I'd guess season 3 will be the rest of season 2. Season 1 was 23 episodes, season 2 was 11? episodes. If season 3 is 12 episodes, it all fits together. Hopefully season 4 will be a full 23 episodes ~.~

Well season 2 was supposed to be volume 2 and 3. I was thinking they might do volume 3 and 4 now. I would really hate to only have 12 episodes again for a full year.

If they cheap out on Heroes this year I swear I'll murder someone in Hollywood. They have a lot to fix after those stupid writers that they can't make it 12 eps.

I should have checked there.

www.spoilerfix.com says: Volume 3 Villains will have 13 episodes, which will be released in one go. Angela's power will be revealed and her role will be very important. Our Heroes will have to save the world at least in two occasions this season. We should learn more about evolution of powers.

This was April 23rd.

So they either made villains 23 episodes or they made volume 3 and 4 together.

Imdb may very well have put the volumes together since Tim Kring has said that the volumes would be shorter. Maybe they felt like both of them would be considered one full season since they are producing them at the same time.

Heroes Returns; Origins Dies

Heroes will return to NBC on Sept. 15 with an expanded third-season opener, but network executives confirmed that the proposed prequel spinoff, Heroes: Origins, is officially dead.

"We consciously chose to rest [Heroes] this spring so that [creator] Tim Kring and his team could get ahead of the creative and build up to a massive event--a three-hour Heroes night," Ben Silverman, co-chairman of NBC Entertainment and Universal Media Studios, said during the network's upfront presentation to advertisers in New York on April 2. "On Monday, Sept. 15, we'll kick off with a Heroes clip show to try to bring back the audience and [then air] a massive two-hour Heroes film."

Silverman also explained why the heavily hyped, much-anticipated Heroes: Origins was scrapped. The show was originally conceived to help eliminate Heroes repeats, and directors and writers--including feature-film vets Kevin Smith, Eli Roth and Michael Dougherty--were already lined up before NBC dropped the idea.

"We were taxing our creative team to do too much around that," Silverman said. "We wanted 35 Heroes [episodes] and 12 Heroes: Origins, each of which was supposed to be a mini-movie and backdoor pilot. We reached far and challenged our people, and we decided it was better to focus on keeping the Heroes mothership as strong as possible."

Heroes will air Mondays at 9 p.m. ET/PT. (NBC is owned by NBC Universal, which also owns SCIFI.COM.)

It sucks that Origins was scrapped but I am kind of glad that they will be spending more time on the Heroes show itself.

Sylar slices open the head of the person you may consider the show's biggest star! That happens within the first two episodes and we also learn exactly what he does once Sy-baby pops the lid on our heroic pals, so let's just say that there is plenty to look forward to early on in season three.

I can't figure out who this is going to be. I don't think he has a chance at doing this to Peter now. They are bringing in a new enemy for Hiro so I don't think it could be him. The only other person I could really consider big star on the show is Claire.

Well, we know Sylar was able to slice open Claire in the "alternate" future, so why not? Increasingly we've seen that the alternate future and present-day are starting to resolve into each other (re: Nathan is dead in the "alternate" future, leaving Sylar to pose as him for the Presidency), so who is to say Sylar still doesn't off Claire?
