TV Heroes Season 3!

Whether or not Tracy is dead I do not know, but the actress herself is still on the show. The only actress they said "good bye" to on that episode was the one playing Daphne. I have no idea what the actress playing Tracy is called 'cause I suck at names, but she's still on the show. Might be as Barbara though or flash backs.
 
I am really excited for next week's episode. I love back story.
 
besides sylar joining up with that dude whos trying to kill all the peeps with powers, i feel the story almost went nowhere this week.

I agree. I think that this was primarily an episode to preface the ultimate redemption and reconciliation of the Petrelli family (next episode is definetly looking promising). The Danko/Sylar love connection was the only real progress.

Just out of curiousity, am I the only person who's disappointed with Sylar now being able to shape shift? It was always a power I really had hoped he'd never get. Frankly, I think it just makes things too easy for him. Part of what I enjoyed about his character is how he would stalk his prey. Now all he has to do is find a preson with powers, turn into somebody they know, get them alone and BAM thank you for shopping at Sylar-mart. All heads half-off.
 
IDK, they obviously recognized that making characters too powerful isn't the best idea (hi, Hiro & Peter). I think they've got a plan for it.
 
i really hope they kill sylar off. i mean he is beyond all powerful. its to the point of like superman meets every other superhero and takes their powers, would you still watch superman? no it would be boring. just like heroes is becoming for me. sylar the all mighty.

they need to give the haitian the power to take powers for realsies so he can meet sylar and strip him of some/all of his powers.

You know it's funny, but I'd half forgotten about the Haitian it been so long since we've seen him. Unfortunately, I imagine at this point putting the Haitian in front of Sylar would end up being like it was when they put him in front of Arthur Petrelli. Sylar would just overwhelm him now. And if Sylar gets THAT power? Game over.
 
I don't mind how powerful he's becoming. He's still not God. If all the other Heroes work out their little issues, they could take him down.

That would be like getting a 5-year old to give all of his candy to the kid at the playground.

Ali Larter is her name, and apparently since I can't seem to go a day without seeing the commercial for her new movie, she might be gone for good. Her movie looks like a B rated horror/thriller with a F rated plot. F for Fail. I think I saw one of the commercials for it say the website was something like www.obsessedwithali.com if that's not saying "I am the star of this move, fuck you everyone else." Then I don't know. Maybe she's done with Heroes, maybe she's not.

As for yesterday's episode. I liked it. I also do agree that things just got even easier for Sylar now. Shapeshifting sure does look painful though. Also, I dunno.. but I kind of like how Claire and Nathan were getting along. LOL at liver regeneration, makes sense though.. I wish I had that power now.. Granted, then I would never actually be able to get drunk for very long. I also enjoyed the Peter and his mother's bonding. Can't wait for the next episode.

I always wonder though. What happens if Peter is able to touch Sylar. He would get all of the powers Sylar has at that point in time wouldn't he? Or would he just get the power to take other's powers and quite possibly the hunger, again.
 
The Heroes universe seems to be following a basic line of the future from season 1. People with powers are being hunted by something in their blood. Noah is playing both sides, sylar now has the shapechanger ability.


They need to fucking fix Peter. I'm sick of his powerless ass hiding.

I agree, it'd be good for them to do something different with Peter. I'm not sure what I want them to do, but definately something.

I am guessing what is happening now with the round up by the government happened before. Angela was a part of it and they buried the bodies to cover up everything.
 
but why dig them up? why not "this happened once before, we buried all the bodies" instead she makes them dig while she stands and watches? i mean seriously??
 
I see two possibilities.

1) One of those bodies has a power related to sunlight and will be resurrecting shortly (highly unlikely, since there's just bones and no flesh).

2) One of the bodies was buried with an item - possibly a vial of serum or a document collection or whatever - that Angela needs to show them, but she isn't sure where.
 
I think she wants them to really understand especially Nathan the ramification of his actions.

The preview did look like someone comes back maybe in ghost form I don't know but it looks like Angela's sister is back next week.
 
Different topic: how to kill Sylar

Note that Parkman can still identify him, and Hiro could kill him pretty easily. Also if Peter got some version of his father's ability locked inside somewhere, he could also kill him the way Adam Monroe was killed.

Other ways to kill Sylar: the Hatian + Ando could probably shut him down, then just shove a spike into his brainstem and bury him in a few hundred feet of concrete.

Baby Touch n' Go might be able to stop all his powers. I would love to see a scene where Sylar tries to make the baby happy in order to get his powers back.

If they came up with someone who had sonic powers they might be able to hurt him pretty bad, maybe mess up his shapeshifting and other powers.

There was that one guy who could open portals to another dimension and disappear objects, they could do a variation on that.

If they came up with a poison ivy type character that could enslave him via lust, it would be pretty easy to kill him.

So he's not uber-powerful yet, just too powerful to handle in any conventional sense. He's reached the point now where ordinary mortals couldn't stop him. Even the army would have a hard time with him, at this point.
