Hi.

I know. :P Hmm, Jessie needs to hurry up and get out of their bedroom or I'm going to have to leave without taking a shower. :/ I want to leave for my house in an hour at the most. I might just leave in a few minutes and to hell with a shower.

Halloween was actually how I started playing Video games. Since I' insulin dependant diabetic, my parents were paranoid about me eating candy on Halloween, so they rented me a Nintendo to play while everyone else trick-or-treated.

Machao sent me TEN messages while I was offline last night...

I went to a Christian school so none of my friends trick or treated. We usually just hung out and watched movies.

When I was a kid, I was extremely allergic to chocolate, so whenever I went trick or treating, my brother got almost all of my candy. :(

I went to Christian schools from 1st grade up to and including graduating College from a Jesuit University. We still went Trick or Treating as kids, so it must have been more of a regional thing, Mire.

On an ironic side note, it's because of the required religious classes at Loyola (a Jesuit founded and run school) that I no longer believe in the Bible. The Jesuits were very big on honest, scholarly study of scripture. They taught me about all the times the Bible was revised, by whom, and what the believed motivations were. I guess they thought that if you understood and still believed, then that was true faith. All I got out of it was, "God may exist, but the Bible is a fairy tale."

Oh, I'm not saying it's a Christian thing lol. But my friends were Dutch Reform Church and were very strict. I'm Presbyterian. If I wanted to trick or treat, it would have been by myself and that would have been... well, really really bornig.

That is why I don't really believe in organised religion anymore. (ie. going to church every Sunday - you can believe in God wherever you are)

That's how I am. I believe in the comfort of my own home.

It's not even really that for me. It's more like smoeone who is not perfect (no one is) telling me how to live. I can talk to God just as easily as he/she can.

Oh, and you're lame. Who the hell is allergic to chocolate?! <3

Well that's kind of what I meant. I don't see why God would insist that I go sit with a bunch of other people and have a leader "preach" to me what I can do on my own. Plus some churches are crazy, requiring money donations and other stuff. That's just not cool.

He's also allergic to sugar, money, and vaginas amongst other cool things. :/

Yep, that how I feel these days. I have my own reasons for believing that there is some form of a God out there, but I'm equally aware that it's unprovable. Interestingly, my reasons are totally in sync with scientific fact and the most widely accepted explanation of the development of the Universe, the Big Bang Theory. Despite popular misunderstanding of the theory, the Big Bang *does not* explain the creation of the universe, nor was it intended to do so. It simply acknowledges that the universe was created at some point, and describes how it came to be in it's current state afterwards. Go ahead and google it if you don't believe me, but it's true that the physicist who came up with the Big Bang was an ordained Catholic priest. So no, it doesn't disprove the existence of God. However, this is too heavy a topic for here, and too long for me to type it all out.

I don't think I'm allergic to money... at least I dunno, you could give me some and see how I react?

I almost died on my first birthday, when I had chocolate cake for the first time. I'm fine now, I just get a sore throat and a killer headache if I eat a lot of chocolate. Doesn't seem to stop me, I loves me some butterfingers.

Yeah, avoiding Osse's link at work. <_<

The entire last couple of pages are too heavy actually. Its near impossible to discuss religious beliefs among friends without sounding condescending to those who don't share your beliefs. Example: A church-goer would read the comments of Mirewen, Rappa, and Osse and be offended that they thought of Church's that way. Which is why I keep my own personal belief set to myself :) Religion and politics often only end with unneeded arguments and stereotypicalizations (cool word) at the end...so I try to steer clear as much as possible.

Least I could do is a fairly work-safe adult oriented web comic. There's not even any nudity, just coarse language and adult situations. It's actually the verifiable source of the term "vagoo" on the web. It's done by the same guys who do Looking for Group.

Also, I have to mention I rated down Natashaa for this gem:

I hope you arent a dude talking to me like this. I think men that talk to women like you have a discusting.

Atrocious and nearly undecipherable english nonwithstanding, these sorts of comments drive me nuts. I hate, hate, HATE the whole attitude of "Look at me, I'm an empowered woman and can do everything that men do but HOW DARE YOU TALK TO WOMEN AS YOU WOULD A MAN YOU'RE A HORRIBLE PERSON".

Isn't Natashaa the girl with that generic MySpace cleavage shot avatar? That person's really annoying.
