Hi.

Last night Carl and I played WoW for a good 2 hours without his machine freezing on him once, so I dunno anymore. I know he'll need to reformat eventually, but we might be able to put it off for a while yet (assuming it doesn't act up again and piss him off, lol).

Thanks for the wootz. When you come back, you can have it back, I'll still be working on Morrigan's robe by then anyway.

Maybe it was just sick of FFXI? >.>

"Thank you" from me to you for the wootz also.

I'll be sponsoring 2 orbs for the Horns of War KS99. The date will be Friday 4/4/08. Gather in Sandy at 9pm; plan to enter the BC at 9:30pm EST.

Almost everything will be FREE LOT. The only exception will be if a BB item drops (the tounge in this case), that will only be lottable by people with MNK at lv 71+.

Everyone with a job lv 70+ is invited to attend, but priority will be given first to the important jobs (tanks, mages) and also to lv 75s.

If we don't get enough people from AG, then we'll get a few extra from peoples' friend lists. These KSs are going before I leave, one way or the other.

I've also posted this on Arcanegarden.com, but not everyone here visits that site. Let me know if you will attend, and I'll update my main list on AG.com

It is slightly possible that I may not be around now. April 4th is Skreb's bday and its also the last weekend before Meeze is finished with classes in NY. After finding out what Skreb would like to do on a night out though, I'm not so sure I'm going to do anything, lol.

I'll go, if I can be of any use.

I don't play ffxi anymore if you recall. Dunno what I'm doing that night anyway.

Of course you can attend. I posted here mainly for you, Mire and Rappa. Everyone else here posts on AG.com, at least occasionally.
Cool, I'll be there.

I seem to recall that Mr. Idon'tplay still has access to his old account, and said he might drop in now and then.^^ No biggie if you can't make it though, I just thought it would be nice to put the option out there.

God, I'm almost too embarrassed to mention this, but it's too damn funny to let it go.

So, I bought a Jupiter's Staff from Jamal nearly 3 months ago when we started doing Salvage. I'd been pumping millions of gil into THF for over a year and neglecting BLM. But since I would mainly be on BLM for salvage, I figured I should at least have Aquillo's (which I'd bought long ago before leveling THF) and Jupiter's.

Tonight during our usual Sunday Assault static, I cast Thunder 4. Certainly not the first time for that, but tonight I noticed that my Dark Staff stayed on after I hit my macro. I figured it was just lag at first, but I was watching closely next cast and this time my Aquillo's stayed on from the Blizzard 4 I'd just cast.

So... I check my macro:
/equip main "Jupiter Staff"

I swear, I do a macro test every time I change something, but this one got past me somehow. I've owned that Jupiter's Staff for 3 months, and tonight was the first time I ever actually used it.

AG Virginia Beach getaway: June 26-29 (Thurs thru Sunday). That's the weekend of the VPMA conference, which Carl is attending during the daytime. The hotel we're staying at is offering a special group rate of $157 a night if you book before May 28 (must mention you're part of Virginia Podiatry group, not sure if we can pull it off but it's worth a try). Regular rates are $215 a night. This is an all-suite hotel with a private stretch of beach. Their website is here.

In addition to the beach, there's a bunch of neat stuff nearby. First Landing State Park is right next to the hotel, and is the most popular park in the state. There's also a boardwalk and aquarium not too far from the hotel. A little farther out in Williamsburg is Busch Gardens Europe, which IMO is one of the best theme parks in the country.

This time there's no escape for Jamal!

That hotel is only 6 mi from my place too. Not too shabby (there's a great seafood restaurant right there too).

I'll be there. already scouting the area.

June 30th, Klara and I go on a cruise, leaving from Cocoa Beach, so... we won't be able to make this trip.
