Only 100 relic ? Wow. How many % of player have relics ? And YET, 100 of them got banned out of 400. And we're still missing 450 names.

Again, I don't see how relics are useless on harder stuff (salvage isn't hard, sorry brosef).

Yeah that's why people decided to dupe it. Salvage isn't hard, getting gear is easy. Do you do salvage ? I think not. Reason people duped is that getting gear is that those loser wouldn't put the required effort in it. If you have to put big effort, I guess it is hard ... I mean salvage is not Nyzul where you can trio Floor 1-100..

Arguably if anyone were to make reasonable attempt at AV (I think that's hard, right?) without knowing the gimmick, you'd most likely have Aegis PLDs and Ghorn BRDs at the least.

No, no and no. Whether you got relic or not doesn't change anyhting. When people figure it, guess what ? They won't need relic. They'll put 4 rdm/nin tanks. Problem solved.

I've gotta side with Mercury here. Its easy to get wrapped up in yelling at "Kaizen" since, to those of us as ignorant as I am to the linkshell's ranks, Kisada and Meast are the "faces" of the shell lately. Its easy to lose sight of who you're specifying when the only members of the shell who speak up are the ones being lambasted, especially since Kaizen adopts a very "us" style of speaking.

I know in all the things I wrote about Kaizen (or didn't explicitly write) were geared /only/ at the bans. Its not right to lump an entire shell in with the bad apples, my prior comment be damned, but sort of sullies the whole name.

That's the sort of thing that's going to propagate from this and I don't think PM was trying to insult the whole shell.

Kaizen sucks.

I basically used this post to cover my own actions, since I didn't want to set off an entire shell of people I don't know, either.

100 got banned, not every relic holder was part of duping. What are you trying to prove; that all relic holders will get banned eventually? Let's not do salvage because all salvage geared people could get banned, server jump or leave the group. Hell, let's just leave fafnir up too.

I've done salvage before and salvage is not hard... I can't believe you actually rank it in some holier than thou, beyond the gardens of Eden, SEs gift to mankind (PUP), bullshit like that. People didn't dupe in salvage because it was hard, they duped because it has shitty drop rates and no one (you don't count) wants to do salvage three times longer than they need to. Accept that as fact or willfully accept being mentally handicap.

Oh you can prediction that people will use 4 RDM tanks? Any reasoning behind that? Aegis and Fealty is my educated guess, because you'll get raped in the ass if you don't. And when people figure out the gimmick, guess what happens... oh, this is precious... relics will make the fight easier, just like every other gear in the game (salvage gear included), because that's what better gear does.

Salvage seemed hard last friday in SSR. :\

Even with it's level of difficulty, I'm happy I never knew of the dupe so I wasn't tempted to use it.

Yes, I do know he was banned but that doesn't discredit his feats for soloing stuff as BLM or SCH and let's not forget his contribution to the community by doing in depth testing on enmity and even finding a latent enmity-4 on marduk pants that SE forgot to put on it.

Hell, many people today still don't know what Cumulative (CE) and Volatile (VE) enmity are.

Even the best of us have our moments in the end and all you can do is move on.. God forbid someone cheat in a video game rather than beat their spouse and/or become shitty parents milking the government for cash.

Any current Kaizen member that thinks Kaizen hasn't lost standing and credibility across ffxi servers, well, denial aint' just a river in Egypt. I kinda expect another HNMLS to hop servers to Quetzy soon.

Yes, some of the bosses can be soloed (Hell, any RDM can do it in 50 minutes with Bio III and Poison II), but why solo them when you can do it faster and more efficiently with 3 people? And with 3 people you can throw in some NM's as well. Sure, you can solo all NM's in Arrapago Remnants (I've done it myself, it is far from hard), but why solo few of them in one run when you can do all of them with 3?

Not sure why Pchan brought up trioing Nyzul in the first place though tbh. Sure, you can trio all of Nyzul with 3 people, and you can trio all of the bosses except for maybe Zhayolm with 3 people too. I'd bet most people can't, but it sure is possible.

Other shells have no idea what goes on here on ours. As a matter of fact, we have one of the absolute smallest number of people banned from this of any server. Besides, other HNMLSes have tried hopping over here and they never last more than a few months.

Soloing one monster/boss/NM in salvage doesnt count as soloing the entire thing.
By that logic if a LS killed JOL with a bought popset without killing ANY of the previous tiers they can claim to have beaten sea.(Av doesnt count damnitt)
