HighSchool of the Dead

Yeah, I rather enjoyed it. However, I never expected it to be true horror, it never was to begin with. I also enjoy fan service, quite a lot, mostly for the comedy, but I'm not one to write off a good lookin' anime character like most... sane fellas?

@Strid I actually find it rather creepy.

Make that really creepy.

*slaps a zipper on DW's mouth and bind his hands* Okay.. Yep. Nothing wrong with that Strid. Though I think in general in anime when they start to rely on too much fan service it usually takes away from whatever story is attempting to be had. I've watched a few animes with lots of fan service and they always lack on the actual story.

With HSOTD though, you have a very simple story. "Here are some zombies" about sums it up.

Hmm.. that really doesn't sound that good. I mean, if there was focus on a group of students that are fighting back the zombies and trying their best at survival I could see that being decent. (Note: I have no idea what this anime is about really.)

But if the story is just like you say "Here are some zombies, people kill them" thats not.. really a story, not a good one anyway.

Sorry, thought you knew what it was about. It's exactly as you describe. A focus on students in the zombie apocalypse. I was simply saying "Here are some zombies" and the students then do what they need to to survive. It's a generic story, but rarely fails unless people try too hard.

Chapter 28 is out. 32 pages is rather short to me for a monthly manga. Maybe that's FMA syndrome. Anyway, the next chapter won't be out until the new year. See you guys in 2011!
