How can people not know how to play thier jobs?

Hmmm

Karihkinz, who was the RNG that we PTed with in Boyahda Tree. He was a dickhead to everyone in the PT, then you asked him to stop being such an asshole and he kicked you out of the PT without telling you, and he had a PLD standing by to replace you. Then i left the PT too. Was it Reflex?

Just a note to kurgon.

You were saying that people might not know the extra effects of elemental ninjutsu but it's written in each spell's help text so no excuse not to know it does that.

Nah Shiutou, it was Precision. I posted a nice long detailed thing about that on the flame boards. title was something like "the biggest load of rudeness I've ever experienced."

And Flameass is right, they do tell you what they lower resistance to ify ou rest your cursor on the ninjutsu selection.

Note text in green....one of my absolutely FANTASTIC (sarcasm) parites I've had recently

You find the best players Sabia.

Rones, this is normal. I'm really starting to hate this game.

Hustle those taru legs to 70+ and escape them (for the most part). At least there are less bad players to keep track of at this lvl. 8)

That's nice if you are the one casting the spell, but does nothing for the other people in the party that might accuse you of "wasting" their time with a spell that isn't doing much damage. Not to mention, the description is rather vague as to how much of a debuff it is.

Many, many, many people in this game just barely know about their own jobs, let alone what everyone else is doing. I was always baffled at just how far people could get without knowing some of the most basic and simple concepts on the system.

Know what else makes parties enjoyable? people who dont argue about every little fricking thing (not talking about EQ or how someone plays). Where to go exp'ing is always a big one. Or about somebody's macro (yeah I've had this too). I've seen a <call> on an Utsusemi macro before though, that had to stop. Certain arguments have merits yeah, but sometimes and many times its over little stuff.

People like those described in the first post are the reason the only leveling I've been doing lately is with crafts. And RDMs, don't even get me started. Every time I've been in a party with another one, or passed by a party with one while on my way to a camp, it's always been a red warrior who's somehow fooled himself/herself into thinking their melee is somehow useful and let their main duties fall by the wayside. It's best when they treat me like some kind of goddamn alien and ask why I have so much mage gear instead of melee enhancing equipment.

I was farming the other day with anon turned off for the first time in a week or more and I got a PT request from someone asking me where my homepoint was. They immediately followed that up with a message telling me they had level 75 WHMs to "help." Some of them aren't giving up their PLs even into the mid-50s. I never replied. I'd give up if I needed such things so late in the game.

leaping boots are not necessary for a thief. And yes what good is all your armor if you are too pussy to fight spiders? lol i as a war tanked those ..... shame on you.

Screw you WSM. You werent even there. I wasn't "too pussy", I had a shitty ass WHM (kinda like the ones being described here) and died 6 times in an hour. I'm sorry if other people playing thier roles badly makes me a pussy for not wanting the exp loss. Sickle Slash kinda does ya know 800 dmg (which my HP at the time was a little below 700), plus I was a couple levels too low to be tanking there as it was. They were IT++. So please save us all the mentality by not having to listen to your BS.

And I never said anything was neccasary, I've played with good thf's would didnt have LL or EP. BUT! They are two free items if you work for them. By 57 you should of had plenty of chances to camp them. I had said I wasn't getting into that topic on my original post, so don't insinuate that I was going to say they were necessary.

P.S. Learn to spell shihei <3

Seriously whats the point of playing if you aren't gonna enjoy your job and do it well.

I seem to be noticing a trend (general pickup parties)
party lvl 10-20 suck
party lvl 20-25 suck, but not as bad
party lvl 25-32 almost done with the sucking, getting half decent
party lvl 33-38 getting tolerable
party lvl 39-47 pretty good, people are finally learning their job
party lvl 48-50 same as above, starting to deteriorate
party lvl 50-60 back to qufim qualities

How? Why?

party lvl 50-60 back to qufim qualities They aren't worse, simply the game gets harder. If you are a very lax player til 50 you will probably skate by fine, by level 50+ to make decent exp/hour you need decent gear and food for all party members. Of course some players can't tolerate this so move to WoW... so they change the exp system so it's easier... welcome to level 70s without food. -_-
