Just wondering how people named their characters.

I was planning to become a ninja
So, i named myself Argenin.
Ar= Are Genin= Lower lvl ninja

Ya my name basically means n00b ninja.
I took my ninja to lvl 16 w/o utsusemi.
Didn't have the money to run it.

I've been called Swishiee for over ten years now. When I started going online, I decided to use it as an alias for practically everything since I'm the only one who spells it the way I do.

Believe it or not I had a friend whose middle name was pronounced the same way. I said to myself wow that's a cool middle name. I guessed the spelling to be Zadock, shortened it to Zadoc and over time the Z became an X leaving me with the name I use today: Xadoc.

I asked my friend:

"What do I name an attractive cat creature?"
"I dunno. I've always wanted to name my kid Alyada."

It stuck.

My mule "Joei" was named after (and I'll seem like a nerd) my favorite Suikoden character, Jowy Atredies. At one point in the story, a character calls him "Joei" because of a translation error, and I've loved that name. ^^

"Codie" my Elvaan girl mule was .. well.. I dunno. I just wanted something with an ending that started with "ie" so I came up with Codie.

I just hit the "Namingway" button until I saw a name I liked. Yeah. Boring.

My Galkan mule is named Androgynehanno. I'm glad Boyhanno and Girlhanno both laughed when they first met it/him.

Nick name in real life is Flymo after the lawn mower, so i just stuck a p on the end

Ultra = (my crew Team Ultraspeed www.teamultraspeed.com)
Seven = (jersey # for one of my favorite football players, Michael Vick^^)

Ultraseven... ta da!

but overall, i think it's a gay ass name and i wish i could change it...

I pulled mine at random from the appendix of Lord of the Rings. It's an elf name, which probably wasn't the best choice for a taru. If I had it to do over again, I would've gone with something shorter and easier for others to type.

I took the name from a character in Sly 2: Band of Thieves. She was a cat woman too.

Mule (Sandy): Huggiebear - Cute name for a cute taru.

Mule (Bastok): Elvaanrscum - self-explanatory.

Main - Pascal, first structured programming language I learned and still prefer.

Mule – Veneficus is Latin meaning magical, witch, wizard

My cousin thinks up a lot of names for here Lupes and other animals on www.neopets.com, so I stole one of her names, Uzor... I think she threw him out though and took Obeya (one of my mules XD)

Mine comes from the main character in a novel by one of my favorite authors, and I basically adopted the name as a handle ever since I read it. It's the assumed surname of Amaya Bajaratt(was Amaya Aquirre), a terrorist/assassin in The Scorpio Illusion by Robert Ludlum. It's a great book, actually I think I'm going to read it again since I'm out of stuff to read.

My only problem with it is that since my name is taken from a book, I'm uncertain about the pronounciation of it. I think it's Baj-ar-att, since she is called "The Baj" in the book, but it could still be Baja-ratt. If anyone knows about how to pronounce names, the book said spanish/french, but she was with middle eastern terrorists so I don't know, let me know.
