Yeah, all of the moves in the Wii version of marvel alliance will have motion sensitive triggers, rather than just the boring old button press. They're the only game so far I think who's trying to fully use the Wiimote's motion sensing capabilities, rather than sony's crappy tilt sensor.

edit: oh, and shoot is spelled with two o's, nub.

Bajaratt missed the meme.

Anyway, yeah, Mr. Fantastic seems like he'd be pretty strange to play in the Wii version.

How come stuff like that is suddenly everyone's "awesome" factor idea, yet just two years ago anyone who even THOUGHT of imitating something like Spider-man would be beaten to death?

if you're playing the stretchy guy, and for some reason you sport wood, will that stretch too?

I heard they were working on a Star Wars game with lightsabers to be used with the wiimote. I'm not sure how true that is though.

It'd have to be, that kind of motion sensing technology in video games is just begging for a light saber dualing game. And god help them if there is not a wiimote shaped like a lightsaber that either comes with the game or is buyable.

lol :)

Now if only we could combine virtual boy and the Wiimote with the sweet Wii graphics rather than the red and black stuff. With all this pocket size stuff nintendo is making, they could make the headset light weight so you can strap it on your head, that way you have full motion without being restricted by a stand. Maybe in the next generation systems.

I think it's pretty much confirmed. Lucasarts has stated that they will be developing Star Wars games for all three next-gen systems.

nintendo just decided to capitalize on something that most gamers do anyway (at least when playing some console games) how many people playing a racing game or a flight sim haven't leaned a little left or right when you want your car/plane/hotdog to turn faster? xD

I haven't, cause I'm not a retard. My brother though, is guilty of this.

More importantly, why is it suddenly awesome when we all know what happened the last time that Nintendo put out a motion sensitive controller?

While I don't lean like there's any kind of force acting on me, rotating the controller a little to simulate turning a wheel I do all the time.

Woah! I remember that thing being in a movie! That kid from Wonder Years was in it and there was some mentally handicapped kid (autistic?) that was a natural pro gamer and they played SMB3 at some contest at the end of the game.

It was called the Wizard! I liked that movie when I was younger just because it featured Nintendo games.
