How many musicans do we have here?

Recorder is the shit, hands down!
I can't help but tap my toe at recorder concerts.

Your bands sound fun, O.
:D
The death metal one sounds great. I'd love to see that.

I have a couple groups now...Neither really my style, but they are friends, and I like to play so...hehee, it works.
The Rubber Band is one of them and Human Shield is the other.

THE RECORDER WILL DESTROY THE PLANET!

Don't matter what style music, as long as good friends and cheap beer is around at all times. Rad band names by the way :D

My new hobby is to go to "Jam Night" at bars. I bring a friend with me and we get drunk beforehand. When we get there I write lyrics on a napkin or two. Then we get the instruments away from whoever is playing them. I play the guitar and whoever can play the drums plays 'em. My friend(s) sings my song. It is probably the funniest shit in the world.

Last Tuesday I almost fell off the stage I was laughing so hard. The song I wrote was about blowjobs from girls from Arizona (totally random). My friend had no idea what the song was about when he was getting on stage. I gave him the napkin when we got up there and he started singing and giggling. I wish he was drinking milk because it would have shot out his nose. I rocked that acoustic like a drunken' Jesus on fire. All these lame people were cheering, it was awesome. Best part of the whole thing was when the drummer spoke into his microphone... "Who the fuck ARE these guys." Good times. Only done it twice so far but I plan on many more nights like this.

Drums- 3 years
GEETAR- 1 year
Saxophone- 6 years

your NOT a band fag if you play percussion

Guitar - 4 years
Piano - 3 years
Ocarina - 1 year (got it for my last birthday and am still trying to figure it out..)
Jaw Harp - 8 years (.........not the hardest instrument to play.)

BWAHAHA!!! You fukkin' rule man!
/em screams in his best Grim Reaper voice, "RECORDER KILLS MY FAMILY!!!!"

The Jam Night thing sounds hysterical, dude. I wish I still had friends like you around man. I either parted ways with them or they moved, etc. and I never pursued it more because now I have a stuffy, stupid job. I feel the rebellion swelling again of late. This shit has got to come out some how and I'd rather make some music or art than seriously take it out on some poor sap on the street.

You gotta get some vidz of Jam Night! lol

Just realized you were in Cali, too. My buddy Jim is out there now. We used to play...He was drumming more back then. Here's his current stuff: www.futureblu.net
I took a couple of the B&W pics for his gallery...He's in Newport, working hard and trying to get a break.

My main instrument is teh sax(9-10 years), after that I play guitar(2 years very infrequently), clarinet, and really bad piano.^^

I did marching band(tenor sax section leader, brass seargant w00t!) and jazz band(tenor sax as well) and did a bunch of small combos and whatnot. Since last year tho, I havent played much at college, but I plan on getting back into once I get some sheet music or a Jaime Abersol CD.

And imo tenor sax is teh sexiest instrument! My Funny Valentine, Saying Goodbye... the ladies swoon over my sensual solos.^^
my boyfriend plays the tenor sax and thank god he doesn't keep it on our seat on the bus!Thats a big sucker!

I play very little guitar but i am taking lessons i also used to play the recorder (my mom hated it)
yeah i had skills on the recorder
i could play under the sea!!!!!!
yeah i was never a band geek hahaha
