I know I'm looking forward to it. It looks like it's going to be pretty fun. I don't think I'll be as hardcore in it as I was in FFXI, but I do miss being able to log on and have some fun. Hopefully this game will fill the gap! :D

I plan on picking it up, but whether I play long term or not will obviously depend on how the game turns out.

Same, I wont be cancelling my FFXI ID right off the bat, wanna test the waters in FFXIV first before doing so. I mean, SE has a pretty good track record, but you just never know, this game could tank =/

I'm hoping for an Open Beta or something. I'm not too hyped about it but I will definitely try it.

I will definitely be there, this is one of those games I'm probably gonna preorder and payoff months before it comes out so i'll have it at launch.

Heres hoping they have some cool server event during or right after launch, like the twinkling treants after NA launch of ffxi.

I'll be there for sure ;) (granted I don't get aggro'd by a certain person) :P

Definitely gonna quit XI (or at least keep XI account open in case I don't like XIV, but I will like it) and play XIV on launch, can't wait until they announce a beta.

I think I've been pretty vocal on how I view this game. I'll be there day 1.

I'll be playing.

I'll def be playing it. I'm excited to start it at the beginning, having some mmo experience under my sleeve this time (which was not the case when I started XI, causing me to fail hardcore in alot of situations~!)

same here, Little embarrassed at how noobish i must've looked when i started ffxi, i remember hitting lvl 30 the first time as a rdm/war in lizard armor XD

I'll be trying it out, so will Foosk.

ill be there, i loved starting XI fresh, its a completely different feeling than it was after i learned everything, i cant wait to feel like a noob again while everyone else is feelin the same!

I will definitly try it. The fact that its aparently more solo friendly is definitly one of the main reasons, cant spend the amount of time I did on FFXI anymore :P.

I hope the server names stay the same.

I don't know if I am gonna... I really wanna try beta or such first before deciding to buy.

I am torn on whether or not to join XIV. Learning a new game and being a stupid nerd will be fun again but I will have to see how my health is.
