I have a couple real life friends who play. So I talk to them every once in a while on the phone or online. And one from Bahamut who used to play on Quetzalcoatl, who I talk to on MSN.

yeah, me and a friend of mine...Sponge...bought the game on the same day...that was a good day...he was my RA in the dorms, but not anymore.

I have some offline friends who play the game, and I do talk on the phone with folks I've met in FFXI who've become good friends. ^^

Pretty much the whole Prairie Bear gang is in the same city so we get together whenever we can.

Theorist is my RL friend. He used to live on the street one over from me. I just helped him move the other day actually.

I know Reality IRL too. I wouldn't say we're "friends" though, as I never really talk to him or see him. I'd say we're "good acquaintances". ^^

I only know one person in the game IRL (Ryio), but I talk to Otiluke, Difinity, Triban, Malakai, Juliana, Ayleenia, Nasya, Hasame, and Veteran on AIM. I also occasionally talk to a friend I have on Valefor who has a mule on Quetzalcoatl.

I have 5 RL friends that play, but about 2 weeks into the game i met a girl named Harmoney and her brother Davidd. Me and one of my RL friends Runekane met these 2 on game. Me and Runekane found out there was a concert in Florida called Livestock, well this girl Harmoney whom we've never met said the concert was just 20miles from where they live and that they were going also. See me and Runekane live in Mississippi so not a big drive. We went to the concert and met Harmoney and Davidd, which is there names in RL to. They fed us and even hooked me up with a 50$ ticket the concert. We spent they hole weekend getting to know these ppl. They were very nice

My real friend is Ghaleon in the game, me and him constantly team up and goof around, we both got it on the PC release and team up to do random stuff constantly, he sometimes brings his labtop over and we play at my place, fun stuff, LOL

i also have the pleasure of knowing harmoney and davidd, we had several parties together in garlaige citadel and crawlers nest, harmoney is on my friend list, and it shows up when davidd is on becuase of the same handle or something @_~

I have only met one person who plays this game in RL, and he was a cahsier at media play. The main leader of my LS are from the same area and hang out, one time they relayed sandwich orders to somone to pick them up food on /l chat......i got hungry.

I only know one person on this game in rl and that would be Glide =) Although I have met a few really great people that I chat with on AIM and even a few I have talked to on the phone.

I have a few people I chat outside of game with on AOL and through email. Whomever I meet I enjoy talkig to them in game and out of game . (for the most part :wink: )

I have a bunch of RL friends in the game.. them being Tenkax, Ccjsn, Gideon, Shayla, Sneakypants, and Rabidsquirrel. I wouldn't be surprised if I have other RL friends.. just havent met them yet lol. I do chat with a couple folks via AIM as well. If anyone of you want to chat, my AIM ID is NeoBlu75 and I am on AIM everyday 9-5pm cst. Work gets kinda boring so meeting new people is always a great way to kill time.

I have a few people who I used to talk to on AIM or MSN about FFXI, but, the oddest situation is one I don't even play with, but chat to IRL.

A white mage on Asura, happens to be one of my best friends roommates. Now, mind you, I've never met this person face to face, but every time I call my friend, I get him instead, and we have a 30 minute conversation about FFXI. A bit odd, if you ask me o_o...

The only person I know irl is Teck (a level 30 warrior/11 thief at the time of this post). He was the one who introduced me to the game, and got me the world pass for this server
