Sence I have so many friends I'll post this here so it dont have to indvidualy tell everyone the same exact thing over and over again. The past few weeks i've been kinda sick, well I went in and got an ultrasound today and a few tests and i've found out I have a tumor the size of a basketball...

Howdy! Long have I wanted to make a topic in this manner. As writers, continually do we attempt to improve our always-growing vast diction, and to really pronounce our writing style in such a profound way it really shocks those that read it. For me, I've found that niche, but up until now...

I know theres a few of you here, I got this email and found it incredibly funny because all of it is soooo very true! Enjoy! THE NEW RULES FOR DRIVING IN CALGARY 1. You must first learn to pronounce the city name, it is: "CAL-GREE". 2. The morning rush hour is from 5:00am to noon. The...

Was curious to know if anyone has completed this quest with their NPC where you fight a lvl 50 cap BCNM in Fei'Yin, with a weapon other than "sheild + ______". I was reading a few posts from other people, as well as a guide and it recommends that you give your NPC a shield. I've traded my...

Ok so here is the set up I am working on if anyone could give me some advice as to what they would consider a better piece for my build and why I would definitely appreciate it. At this time I would also like to state that the parts that I have initially chosen are here because of their ability...

Hello everyone! This morning I received an email (please see the below quote) from a reader of my weblog at http://mithratales.blogspot.com and as much as I would like to reply to him myself, I don't feel completely qualified enough with end-game experience to provide him with a factual answer...

I'm currently a blue mage at level 32, and I've been looking at the Emperor's Hairpin, PCC, and bounding boots. My question to you is: Is it worth the investment of time (or money) to get these? My magic is strong just from being taru, so I equip things that primarily increase attack, STR, DEX...

I've never been too saavy on the Outer Horutoto ruins. They were never very interesting to me, and aside from having to have to do a mission or two down there, I avoided them like the plague. But oh no! Bludgeon is an awesome ability. I have to go here to get it? Therein lies the problem. I...

Hay everyone, Does anyone have any experience with this at all? Basically what happened was currently my fellow uses a polearm at the moment. It was finally time for her upgrade and so I went and bought a Long Sword and Shell Shield. I went to trade both at once and Luto said, "Your friend...

Well... why is it that people go to great lengths to get gear that's worse than much more easily obtained gear, and then wear the worse gear 24/7? Case and point. BLM AF2 legs. Yeah I got em. Let us examine the stats. Def 30: MP+13 INT+3 Enmity-2 Elemental magic affected by day. And then...

Ok my college admissions pretty much went like this: University of Colorado - Accepted - no scholarships University of Washington - Accepted - no financial aid decision yet University of Chicago - Fuck you Georgetown University - Go to hell Yeah, so UW is the better school (for my program and...

Thanks for everything. All the hard times, and easy times. Good, bad, and ugly times. I am grateful to everyone I have partied with and have mearly walked by and given, or was given, a little cure. To everyone in the world of Vana'diel. In the honor of my dear friends Sachii-sama, Eloden...

OK, I've decided I would rather have a different NPC than the one I have. Is there any way to dump them and start over? I've noticed when you talk to the NPC Quest starter in Upper Jeuno one of the options was to discontiue the quest. I haven't tried that yet, but it seemed like I could...

Everyone who's played this game for some time has had this happen: Someone, usually a low level with no subjob, will come up out of the blue and say "Please, can I have 1000 gil so I can buy new armor." My normal answer to such cheek is to "go farm like everyone else." But then it started...
