I read your post Keryan, and it can be simply dissected into two parts; at least from my interpretation of it.

1. You have complaints about how your situation is being handled.
2. The other is in regards to the player, Poring.

I don't know what to say about the first one since I'm not involved with sky, sea, or any major end-game because of RL priorities, but as for Poring, how come he called you whitey? Do you both have some kind of history together?
Did you say something to the player to get them upset? Or, did they have something against you? Or, was it just a silly joke, mt, or misunderstanding?

Usually there is always a reason why a player may act abrasive towards another, and vice-versa.

Also, if it got on a personal level with the player, did you talk to a GM about it?
They are pretty good with resolving situations of harassment.
The same in Poring's case. If anyone is able to examine logs, is definitely them; the GMs.

I do find it funny they have to meet together to discuss how to respond and what to post. They removed my post from the LSsite before people had a chance to see it. Thus I posted here. Moving it shows they had something to hide. tbh anything they try to post will seem some sort of preplanned thing to minimize any damage.

Over all most of the shell are hard working people. There is alot I am not saying because I did not make this as a flame. It was moved here by the admins. If you want to join the shell, go for it. Just be aware that there are players that are allowed to harass players without being kicked as their rules require. As well as some other things, but you will learn them soon enough if you join. FYI it was one week ago, not weeks. I wish the best to my friends still in KA. To the idiots, karma is a bitch.

Yeah, Uzor wasn't even there and made it more clear what might have happened. I understand why you got kicked now because leaders was not happy with you complain/your back talk. I know how it feels when you have a young person watching you play but personally I wouldn't even make it a conflict just ignore it and move on.

All I got was that he called you Whitey, you don't actually say whether or not you were talking to him, or whether or not the word "whitey" was in a sentence, or if you just received a /tell saying "Whitey" and nothing else. All 3 are similar but could be taken in different ways.

I think it's important to also understand that people play the game to have fun and relax and not to have to watch their P's and Q's constantly. Unless it was in the "rules" to not swear or talk about anything that might be considered "offensive". It also depends on which words weren't "allowed" to be used. Stfu, ass, etc. are thing's people say in general conversation even when they aren't necessarily mad or acting up. I talk like a sailor in many occasions and I don't even realize that it might be offending someone, especially when it's someone who *may* be playing their parents character.

In regards to a "Whitey" comment, I personally would have laughed because really... who the hell says "Whitey"? I would have probably made fun of them for using the term in the first place. Regardless, that is a piss poor reason to kick someone unless they started a huge arguement over it, in which case both people should have received a talking to because if it hadn't been said, there would have been no conflict in the first place.

On a second note, I have dealth with Poring/Taxero in the past, this idiot only likes doing things his OWN way, and if things come out wrong, he likes to shift the blame onto others (i.e. his mules). Prime example, I tried doing the airship fight with him a few months back (I had already tried and failed the fight a few times) and before the run I offered some advice as to how to proceed, but no, he wouldnt listen and would talk shit through Taxero, all the while trying to look all nice and shit on Poring.

In the end, Keryan has always been a great player from what I have experienced, and if her Sky shell is willing to let her go, they must be fucked in the head. Kery feel free to PM me of you lookin for a Sky shell, I know quite a few hiring skilled members like yourself.

On the fact that Kery's kids watch her play, well for the year and a half I spent with her in KA it was always a well known fact, and people always respected that. To be honest it was nice to play in an atmosphere that was free of the usual teenage sexual angst and perversions that fly around most shells. And it no it wasn't like being in church lol. Just when things started getting a little out of hand Ker would simply say in LS that there were kids around, or let everyone know she was going to unequip LS (We rarely had more than a full alliance) and just stick with /party.

Keryan was one of the longest standing consist members of KA but turned down leadership several times because she didn't feel she had the time to commit to such a large role iirc. If she was feeling harrassed in LS by another member she had every right to speak out against it and expect leadership to step in. Any person who is feeling harrassed (no matter how stupid other ppl think it is) in any LS has the right to ask leadership to step in. And leadership should damn well sort it out. Running an event is only half the job of a leader, using good people skills to keep the balance is the other half and then some. If you can't do that then you have no right to call yourself a leader.

why do people keep jumpin on the kid thing... this had nothing to do with her child playing. whenever it was the child everyone was chill cept for the odd slip up and no one had a problem with it. now as far as being harrassed... it didnt happen in the sky shell so it wasnt a sky shell problem. she made it a sky problem when she came and said if we dont tell her who the mule was she was quiting in 5 seconds. if she would have talked to a leader in /tell this all could have been avoided but she choose to not go that route.

now about her being kicked... after the first round of crap happened everything was cool and kery and poring were both gonna get a warning about continuing drama when asked to stop. the second round started when she accounced she was quiting the shell and making it a big poor me bitch fit. if she would have not done that and waited till the leaders had a chance to talk to them she would not have been kicked. she also dropped her pearl on her own accord because someone who wasnt a leader said the leaders would talk to her. which they had no knowledge of... so instead of sending a /tell to a leader to see what was going on.. she dropped it. the leader who talked to her might have worded it wrong but if she wasnt clear on what was going too be done about it then she should have asked which she didnt.

Yeah, this is how I feel about it too. Kery is in my Einherjar shell and I know her kids play with her or they are around when she's playing. However, I have a potty mouth so I don't expect anyone else to really expect anyone else in the shell to watch their mouth. If you are talking to her in tells and she asked you to watch it because her kids were around then you should try to respect that but it's a habit for most people, including myself, so I don't expect it in linkshell. Sometimes I do it without realizing it.

Add onto that the fact that the leadership of her shell isn't doing much, if anything, to appease the situation would piss even the most patient person off.

I would want to know who owned the mule that was sending me tells as mt's after the fact as well, so I knew who else was in on it, especially after KA leaders had "solved" the problem by warning Poring and Keryan. In fact, Leadership should of also demanded to know who owned the mule. If it was another member, they should have been given the same warning as Poring and Kery, and if it was still Poring he should have been kicked.

whether it was a KA member or not... she came into the LS and threw hissy fit saying she was droppin her pearl. yeah sounds like shes real reasonable about resovling the issue. the first thing she should have done is /tell a leader about the situation and then let them deal with it instead of comming in there and disrupting the whole shell with it, which she did not do. as i said earlier.. if she had not started the other im droppin my pearl bullshit a second time she also would have gotten a warning. but regardless of her being kicked she dropped the pearl on her own without checking with leaders about the situation and what was going to happen.

she talked to nolo in tell about it and from what i understand another member (not a leader) later told her that a leader would talk to her about it. i knew nothing of this neither did the other leaders. she was told that the leaders were gonna have meeting after the run, but she blew it out of proportion and said she was dropping her pearl a second time and that little stint took another 20-30 minutes to get calmed down. imo.. if you say your dropping your pearl twice in one run..then drop it and gtfo. be done with it instead of wasting peoples time.
