I am about to launch my remote at the television.

Anyone played super monkey ball on the gcn? not adventures, the normal, pusslie-ish ones. THose were awesome right? right. well I think so.

anyone, Banana Blitz (which Im sure is mostly meant to be a party game) is pissing me off lol. The level layouts would be a cinch with a joystick. But the wii remote handling is near impossible to effective. Its ruined the whole concept now. I cant even complete some of the simple levels because of the piece of crap handling.

ugh Im angry lol.

I remember seeing the gamespot editors on their live feed of gameplay having problems with some mini games.

The red light/green light minigame is damn near impossible from what I saw, and so is the parachute drop game. Other games looked well done though, like the flying one.

Overall looks like its a real hit or miss situation, some of those games are just fustrating because the controller is too sensitive to movement.

yeah, I played a couple minigames before going to the main scenario.

The Whack-the-Mole game SUCKED ASS. Actually, any game similar did (when you have to move the remote closer/farther from the screen)

Some of the only minigames worth it were, yeah, monkey target, the spaceship one (kinda like galaga) and maybe a couple others.

But the remote being used to tilt the landscape is horrible. I would have chose to stick with joystick, but oh well. I wanted a party game to play with a couple buddies that would last until wario-ware or a mario party was released. Cant wait til wario-ware lol

Um... doesn't wii have ports installed for wavebirds?

well yeah, but this is the Wii version. cant use GC controllers with it

They'll fix the sensitivity issues in the next couple waves of games, I'm sure. The controller does indeed feel "twitchy" at the moment but companies will slow down response a little if it is perceived as a problem.

You can adjust the sensitivity in your Wii settings, maybe that would help?

no no, it isnt the sensitivity, thats fine. Its just the controls. I know its an early game and all, so I cant expect the best. Im just sayin.

The controls are just clunky, dont work too well with this game.

I found the controls were wayyyy too sensitive. Hence problems with red light green light. You literally can't be doing anything with the wiimote+nunchuk...

It's still a fun party game, just gotta get used to the wiimote.

You tried out that Rayman game yet? I'm just going to wait for Warioware and Wii Play for mini/micro games.

I recently bought the rayman game. I've been playing it alone through story mode and I'm really enjoying it. The controls are simple, and since the games are mini games it's fairly easy to control. This is also one of the funniest games I've ever played without second thought. Those rabbits have me cracking up the entire time I'm playing.

My friend brought over Rayman today, one of the best games for the Wii! Some mini-games have few control issues, but others are so much fun. The shooting levels, DDRish music mini-games, and anything involving running was the best.

Damn game makes you sore too, some require you to constantly shake the wii-mote throughout the whole game, chronic masturbaters will obviously dominate those. I just got addicted to the music games, watching the rabbits dance to La Bamba is hysterical!

lol, it had me thinking a similar thing. One level you have to pump the nunchuck up and down very fast so your juice gun will shoot lots of juice which you have to hit the bunnies in the face with. As I'm doing this, I suddenly got thinking "Well, this uhhhh reminds me of something."
