I demand The WETLIST back!!

I don't remember all that well how it was done, but what i do remember was that the NHW was spesfically designed so that any topic created there would be either locked or left open and have the person on the wetlist.

My discretion is only so good, when i would rather have some community agreeed upon criteria to put someone on the wetlist.

to the OP: if want a wetlist or w/e you wanna call it, make your own. Everyone has different opinions on everyone, its as simple as that(aka /blist derb)

In reguarding to the last post, i have my own list and i am careful of them. The problem is, this.

I known bout this guy from long before and he's still on my blist. Now what's going to happen is in 3-4 weeks he's just going to get a new shell and create the same problems because these forums cycle out.

How many people will he havta piss off until he 1: learns or 2: finally outcast due to NO one finally trusting him.

I really want to know how to work these forums. I would love to make that list until the day i finally quit.

I'll still maintain that a list, while convenient, is a horrible idea.
Sometimes even the most clear cut things can exist in shades of grey. Having a list, while it may link to posts, creating the illusion of allowing people to make decisions on their own, does in fact create the implication of automatic guilt.

If someone truly deserves to be on such a list, people more than likely don't even need to see it there. They'd know already. The people who don't know, probably never will even read the list to begin with.

Add to that the difficulty in maintaining something like this, and coming up with an agreeable standard for everyone.

Use your blacklist, and if you want to know about someone, search for them. The tools are already in place, it's better to spend the effort using them than implementing a difficult and controversial list.

tl;dr This is not a good idea. It may seem like it, but it never was.
