Anyone who partied with me over the last few weeks, I have an apology.
I just realised my subjob was gimped. JUST REALISED IT. All this time I thought 55/26 was right, but I was wrong. It was 55/27.

I JUST noticed this, and freaked out. I feel like scum,. Oh, the impressions I must have left on my PTs >.<
I am so sorry everyone for my gimpness >.<

I wanna puke...
 
Unless you gain something from that one extra level (JA or a Passive trait) then there is nothing to be ashamed of, in my book at least.
 
Its ok man just chill , only be worried if u get like less invites , or u get a good trait/ability that lv.
 
I don't think people will hat eyou for it. At least i wouldn't. It won't do much as one level (like 0-4 hp and 0-4 mp), so its not that big of a deal.
 
Yeah, there's nothing to bad about missing 1 level unless like Zhaoyun said, it involves an extremely useful Job Ability or Passive trait so it's all good lil buddy.

Dont worry about it. My whm sub was gimpped on my rdm till I hit 72 ;p

if it makes you feel any better i got to lvl 74 on my rdm with out ever subing a mage job

I think 1 or 2 lvls below cap is just fine, unless you get an important spell or ability at that lvl =/
 
I feel your pain dude, wayyyy back in the day I was a rdm (talking like last year here) and I finally got my subjob. Of course, it didn't mean much to me at the time, I was excited and would do just about anything. A couple examples:

My first job to lvl 30 was RDM, which usually had either an underlvl'd THF sub, or a severely underlvl'd BLM sub. No MP gear at all really, and I melee'd all the time in parties.

Lvling THF in the dunes for TH1, I used to sub BST (because it was lvl'd, RNG wasn't). This was a bit more intelligent, as I subbed it for widescan, not just picking a sub all willy nilly. I had better gear this time around though.

So yeah man, don't worry about being a gimp or anything silly like that. One level isn't gonna make you look bad really. Having a level 30RDM/08BLM in Yuhtunga Jungle will.

Oh man, that was me my first time around, now he is a mule. >.< If you see Owrms running around jeuno, he is my old gimp.

You overreact to everything, Ryio. :lol: Yeah, it was a level under, and you missed out on a few MP and maybe 1 MND or something. Big freaking deal. I'm not saying it's good to go around with a sub that's not fully leveled, but it's not as bad as you make it seem. :lol: And the only spell you were missing out on was Protect/Protectra II. Which the BLM shouldn't have to be casting anyway. :P

Oh man, thats the Epitomy of my RDM, my first job. Used a VIT ring and my Bastokan Ring 1-32, level 10 WAR subbed, demanded to tank, melee'd, rarely casted anything, bone gear until ~30, etc.
