Ok so maybe the description part may be invalid now but the general idea still stands.
If they deem the spell not as important to get, they are not going to get it immediately.

Only if someone actually tells them that they should because it can be pretty helpful, would they probably consider getting it.

I said it would be a decent alternative [not superior/elite/the best, but would get the job done, as the adjective "decent" means. Other words used in place of decent could be "adequate, suitable, mediocre."] Immediately after, I said using Peti for TP, and Sipahi for WS would also be "decent."

Right the fuck there you said that Sipahi was a viable option for ANYTHING. It's fucking garbage except for a 60 SAM for WS seeing as the most popular WS are Rampage, Raging Fists, Penta Thrust, Vorpal Blade, Guillotine, and Blade: Jin. All of which would get a hell of a lot better results from the accuracy and attack of the Peti than the fucking strength and agility because missing a hit or two in a multi-hit weaponskill hurts more than a little higher numbers with fewer hits. Sipahi is garbage, period. I wont tell someone to farm for it, but damn right I'll question as to why someone would think that STR is more crucial to a weapon skill that is non-SAM main at 60. Sure if you want you can hit 3/5 of hits in Rampage for 450 but 5/5 for 575 is a hell of a lot better and gives more TP return starting you closer to another rampage in your TP build. The same applies to DRG, yes I realize DRG can not wear Sipahi it's an example, I'd rather see all 5 hits land on a penta to hit for more damage than inconsistent ones because of the lack of even some ACC in the body piece. Save yourself the gil and don't bother with the piece of shit body.

I have conceded that for a 60 SAM that does not have a hauby at 60 a Sipahi is fine for WS because of the insane str mods on SAM WS 60+, and that at 60 I'm sure a SAM is using /thf more so than /war to guarantee the hit on Tachi: Yukikaze as well as guaranteed crit on the weaponskill.

For the tl;dr Palides say Peti/Sipahi combo is a decent substitute for Haubergeon. ACC> STR for multi-hit WS in most cases.

Then he shouldn't say Peti/Sipahi is a viable option for a hauby until hauberk. There is a 30k difference in the hauby/hauberk price. The difference between hauby and hauberk is the agi and evasion so you don't even really need to get a hauberk. I understand that you wouldn't use a hauby for your DRK because at the time prices were different. Now I would say screw the Hauberk keep the hauby for the future in case you level SAM or NIN.
