On topic, if everyone in Aura was okay with spending the entire back to get a bot, the whole shell is at fault, not just the leader who may or may not have fumbled getting payment on time. Doesn't make it acceptable, by any means, but you get what you pay for, literally.
I think the most amusing thing is how much of a reference this gives us into the workings of the HNM shells on Quetz. We have Abso, who showed up and acted like dicks and had that whole shitstorm about people who hate botters, cheaters and jerks, then we have Aura, who showed up quietly and botted just the same.
Notice how one of these shells had a pretty quiet reputation, and one of them was known from day 1 to be cheating arrogant jerks. Things have calmed down a lot, but it kind of puts things into perspective. Be loud about cheating and people will remember you for it forever, be quiet about it and you slip under the radar.
Not that it matters now, its all out in the open in a fancy little timeline. I'm so glad I don't do serious endgame; I'm content with my gear without selling my soul for it, or shitting on my rep. I can do that WITHOUT the use of bots!
