hell there. a brand new flame for QCDN'ers to read and probably /slap me after they hear what happened.

here's the story. i was in sky soloing phs for despot, when my friend darkakumma told me someone named revert was shouting for a rdm to merit with and offering 700k an hour(you know where this is going but hear me out).

so i just recently came back to the game and lost some gear and all my gil so i thought this would be cool to start making stuff back. very far fetched and dumb to offer money like that but some people have alot of gil so i thought id give it a shot.

i sent him a tell asking if he was serious andof course he said yes. i was like 'why, are u rich. why would u offer this?' he said that he had 80M and it was np. i didn't know him so i just assumed he did.

a side note. botosi from absolution was in the pt and if it was a normal pt i woulda bailed right there beause hes a douchebag along with most people in that shell, but seeing as i may get payed i decided to just play and ignore him. revert didnt have a shell on. now that this all happened im assuming hes in absolution too and maybe was advised by botosi to uneqip LS. but im unsure on that fact.

i was going to ask for the gil up front, but when we got there he said he'd pay 1.4M for hours 1 and 2 after its been an hour. i agreed, now i knew i was taking a risk by doing this. but i didnt care too much if i got screwed plus i wanted xp anyway so it wasnt gonna be the end of the world if i did get screwed.

so we xp for 20min, and revert lvls up to 75. i say grats as does everyone else. we get 3 colibri on us. fighting one and 2 sleeping and revert and botosi both warp and almost mpk us in the process.

my fear was made true. i tried sending them tells but of course no response.

im not like hardcore upset that i didnt get the gil. ya its annoying but i'll get over that. its fine. i just wanted you guys that play to know what happened regardless. if you werent share about botosi before reading the absolution threads. well, u shud be now. it was a dick move. and if you dont know revert, i hope this prevents you from having any contact with him in game. him and botosi are kiniving, video game "bad ass" losers that i hope no one would waste their time on. that is all. see ya in game

Remember the difference between Botosi and Botosai. Botosai is a good guy.
 
Um... Why in the world would u believe anyone would pay that... Also revert is rich :x. But still lol why would you believe anyone would pay tht if they didn't pay up front first...

Not really the point. Was fucked up to say you would pay for him to be in the party in the first place. Yea, he shouldn't have believed him, but was still a dick move.
 
I would of figured I wasn't getting the gil, but them warping out and almost MPK'ing me would of pissed me off also.

Also, I heard that this guy Bernie Madoff can make people inordinately rich.


Of course, that's not to say that Madoff/Prince Click-Bom-Bang/Revert aren't pricks for playing the masses or Honcho, but he should have really seen it coming.

this is my point... like i said in OP, i knew it was a possibility. i'm not upset that i didnt get the gil. ya its somewhat diappointing. but again, i wanted to XP anyway so i was willing to take the risk. but to me... im a man of my word and being honest and truthful is a big deal. when someone lies to me then almost mpks me and the other members. i feel it worthy of flaming so the general public can see the kind of kiniving tricks that these two can play.

i know alot of people will say things like duh you shoulda seen it coming, and yes i know that. the flame is about one liar. and yes he's in absolution also i'm assuming because he was in aery with botosi. it's just to let you know that if you come across revert or botosi, they are NOT to be trusted. do so at your own expense~
 
lol I can't believe people still fall for that shit. I have 10 million dollars that you were left in your great great great aunt's will, but I need 1,000.00 as a claiming fee.

Just saying, he should have expected it, but it was still an asshole thing to do.
 
also.. no offense snowball but i expectd a reply like that from you seeing you're in his shell... i should have know revert was a prodigy from the mighty shell absolution lulz
 
I don't know what's funnier. The sheer fact he had to con players to support his party. Or how he originally was shouting for 300k/hr and had to raise it to 700k before anyone thought about it.
 
Oh I just read tht mpk thing. Yes you should be mad at that I know I would be upset aswell

Even if I weren't in the shell I'd say the samething. Yes what he did was be an ass but you were also foolish for believing his shouts. D:
 
If it makes you feel any better Honch. This dumb ass was selling gear in whitegate for stupidly cheap prices. Like Sorcerer's ring for 1M(they go for 2M), and Aristocrat's coat for 1.5M(they go for 2.5). Everything sold in a matter of minutes. Easy 1M in my pocket though, so I'm not complaining.

like scwall said he originally started at 300k. and dunno if i said or not , but i never saw his shouts anyway. i was in sky. a friend told me about it and like i said again i wanted to xp anyway so i went along.

not sure if i was foolish because i never 100% believed i was gonna get it. i was hoping he was gonna stik by his word but i knew i may get screwed in the end which i did. but hey maybe now people will know what kind of players and people these guys are. lie to get their way.
 
I don't remember the last time I got paid for exping with anyone in this game lol. Anyway, that's a really shitty move he pulled.
 
I had a player offer me 100k a level back when I was a 55 whm. I made sure I got my gil before we started. Funny is when he got to 30 he DBed with no warning, nearly mpking everyone, then died and deleveled. Being nice, I left him dead to homepoint.
 
They most likely were excited and willing to pay, until they saw your mighty 500mp. No matter how many times I saw it, I wtf'd it.

Also, you didn't lose gear, you gave it all away like a jackass and canceled your ID knowing damn well we all intended to put it right back on you. Failgalk continues to fail.

Don't let me catch you in Bastok spamming for gil again. You're not welcome there anymore, remember?
