You bring up the band thing again, which to many is a very trivial thing, but could be annoying to others. Also the "ninja lotting" they believed Maddash didn't have a job for that set of gear, which now is being said they do, so yeah maybe it sucks if they did accidentally lot on the item they weren't supposed to. A lot of this sounds like little things adding up and being annoying mixed in with some misunderstandings. Statics can grate on nerves quickly if people don't mesh well. I don't think either side were malicious more so misunderstood and annoying to each other.

Yes, as I have already stated twice there is NO HARM IN ASKING, but when you add the fact this guy did not know something he should have known way before his level to everything else he had done as previously stated in the OP, he appears to be a rather large douche.

I don't know what you're getting at with the whole "freak out" thing, but it's not really making much sense. All I'm seeing is you (and a few others') friend defense of this guy, purely because he's a friend - if this was anyone else, they would be shot down in an instant.

But the fact that when i look for DDs for this event SAM's are top of my list. Not hard to gear for, for the biggest DD advantage a job can bring to the table in this event.
Boss floors, with items sams are just second to none.
Other floors being able to get TP even while running around not killing, reday for the nxt availble mob makes them very valuable.
So to have one that comes and cranks out an average of 350 damage WS's and doing such a crappy job you could'nt even feel it when he DC'ed musta been extreamly annoying.
Especially when theres only 6 of you anyway.

I have to agree with bigbroon when it comes to the matter of a samurai knowing what the af1 and afv2 gloves do. I would say that is pretty much common knowledge to everyone who takes this game seriously. If a person didn't know than they would once they obtained the af1 helm and equipped it at level 60. Also the lack of gear swapping is a huge sign of laziness. I think this flame is more based around the person not knowing how to do their job correctly. I think the supposed ninja lotting on the denali feet isn't that huge of a deal even to the person who created this thread.
 
Being a 75 Sam and not knowing how to get meditate up, using Tachi: Rana instead of Gekko, getting lost in Nyzul after what? a million times running there? That calls for more stupidity than I have heard of in a long long time.

Nyzul isle is a static based instance where you expect your team to work together, not against you. You expect the players in your static to have some kind of knowledge about the jobs that they are coming as. You expect after at least a certain time of progress in the Nyzul, that players are familiar with the surrounding, that they know (based from exp/merit pts), how to go around certain mobs.
If they dont, well that is just a waste of time for the other 5 players.

With that said:
When you started running this static (I have no idea about how long you guys have been running) it would only have taken you like 3-4 runs to see that something was completely wrong with this Sam fella.
Now, from what I read, this guy gave you all a good laugh several times on Vent. It seems to me that instead of trying to make this run go smoother for everyone and actually trying to help this guy a bit so everyone could progress, you just laughed at him. That dosent make any sense to me at all.
I know that he should be aware of his job at 75, but not everyone are, not even the fact that they get their job abilities at lower lvls, makes them realize that they can do so much more.

If you just sit around Vent and laugh at someone during the static that you are in, chances are that you will never progress much. So you decided to send him a /tell that you want to replace him, instead of trying to solve the problems.

Maybe you think that Maddash is the retard here, but to me players like you and your laughing friends on Vent are just as much at fault as Maddash was. You could probably have solved these issues by taking a few minutes before entering and adressing them with the player. Not just the job issue, but every issue that you had with him.

That would have given him a chance to speak up and get that matter out of the way. Instead you just sit there and laugh at him lol.

Because EVERY Nyzule Isle is the same lay out, so doing it 100 times means you know exactly what floor set your getting.

Because Nyzule Isle mobs act the same as basic merit mobs, you know Colibri and Wivre aggro.

Not everyone who levels a job to 75 knows how to play it properly. Welcome to FFXI, the year is 2005. How many times have their been when someone is 75 and there shitty at their job? {Place lame Vegeta Picture-OVARRRR 9000}.

As I stated before hand the armband is nothing to bicker about, and no its not being selfish. There wasting their points taking up the entire group, getting back less tokens then the others. Perhaps, they've done it before and have a stock pile of tokens and doesn't mind taking people up.

My SAM wasn't 75 so I can't say whats best or shit for the job, but I heard a lot of people got good numbers off of Rana.

As far as the ninja lotting goes, the hands, I believe it was, could of been a possible accident. It does happen, I've had it happen to me where I lost a item, Big deal, your a static get a new pair. The other, the FREELOT pair, was not a ninja lot, the group said, FREELOT as in anyone in the group can lot it if they can/will make use of it. Since you ONLY looked to see their SAM gear but saw them with daggers, chances are they may have Thief, and DING DING DING, THF can wear Deanli so it was a certafied lot.

You should of talken to them instead of going on vent, lolololololrtardedSAMrusing rana!!! If they were bad talk to them, if they wouldn't listen, KICK them, stop being abitch and talking shit in vent and not manning up and saying shit to their face.

To finish this off, Bigbroon, your a douche. Kairi has always been one of the nicest most knowledgeable people I knew in this game. Just because you disagree with her doesn't give you the right to be a douche ass whore.

I know you simply because of your actions in game. You had a nasty temper tantrum and left the event you were at. You also had a lot of nasty things to say in tells afterwards. (if you can't remember who you make big ugly scenes in front of, not my issue) Not going to make this the big exciting derail you're looking for, sorry.

If you're confused, please re-read my second post about the assumptions etc. Really I'm done discussing this with you.

If all you see is a "friends defense" fine. I haven't said they were in the right, or they were infallible, just that I personally hadn't had anything but good experiences with them.

Sorry this happened Duff, but seems like it was resolved with relatively little drama, and people went their own ways. Sounds like you got your static straightened out, and you got your warning against Maddash out there as well.
 
Maddash a selfish person? you must be mistaken. Yes you may can get her on being slow at times but from what I seen she not selfish person.

Exactly, I dont think some of them even understand what they are doing. Saying "Maddash would never do a thing like that" just because they are your friend doesn't help in anyway. Unless you were there in real life watching Maddash play right when he lotted you can't say it was an accident because you don't even know. It easy to type "oops mistake" as back up.

Agreed. Maddash is definitely not a selfish person. She's helped me out many of times, even if she's in the middle of doing something. Maybe she could be slow, I haven't seen her be all that slow (well sometimes she was slow getting to sky), but yeah... not selfish.

I wasn't directing it towards you but, thats exactly what I ment. So what if Maddash is nice and not selfish around you, that doesnt mean they going to be like that all the time. Or maybe she is just like that around friends/linkshell. I find it odd everytime someone "accidently" lots something it happends to be the importantish item and they always lot last too.

The flame had nothing to do with WHM but someone just had to say Maddash is a a good whm with no opinion on the topic or anything. I saw your original post with the "I didn't say she didn't but maybe it was an accident" which is ok but saying she helped you many times and not selfish could be just towards friend. Lots of people have friends that they are nice to but when around others they ninja lot, mpk, bot, steal ect. Hate to use this as an example but look at Absolution. They all nice to each other and tend to defend one another if one person is called out or something. But yet, some of them still do bad things.

And as for the whm comment, I'm not spewing shit as long as duffman wasn't in his post. Numbers that were being given by a 75 sam 300-500... that shits weak as hell. That should be maybe around level 45-50 being the average.:sm:He may be your friend, I'm not sure, but the friend defense is a worthless defense.

Meh@notdirectingittome. But I know everyone doesn't act the same around everyone. Hell, nor do I. I don't act the same in the flameboard as I act in game. But I've never heard a single bad thing about Maddash before this flame, I'm not saying that no one hasn't said bad things about Maddash, but you also can't go off a couple peoples opinion either. And you can't really compared Absolution to this. That's assholes defending assholes.

Scroll up. Read. I said we corrected him where appropriate. He did so much stupid shit that if we called him out on everything it would be overload. So instead we laughed it off and the most serious dummy moments were called out to his face.

for Maddash being a good person... I would say Yes. This coming from the guy flaming him. As I've said he is polite and he shows up on time so he isn't slow. He's just ignorant of how to play his job, basic Nyzul mechanics, and somehow obtained 2/5 of an armor set when he's signed up for Askar... of which he is now 3/5 or at least 2/5.

So when those of you who know him say he's a good person, you are right and I believe you. Just believe that he doesn't know how to play worth a shit either.
