I need a 360 now.

hell yeah! halo 3 is looking more and more awesome everytime they release stuff on it, i was in awe of the smoothness and graphics in the brute video and those are not even the final graphics!
i downloaded lost planet about 2 months ago, it lost its steam on me already, though i do like the bionic commando grappling hook!
i have dead rising, i havent played it yet tho. kinda hooked on ultimate alliance at the moment.
Gears of war is an awesome game, But its true its not the best! its not halo ^^

and i can agree, xbox was trash as it had about as many good games as i could count on one hand, 360 proves to not be going that path and im surprised and happy about that at the same time.

as for buying ps3 for MGS4, this guy has yet to post any false info on his site unless he has viable proof but

rock on!

as for xbox 360 rpg's, i hated xbox 1's lack of rpg games, im playing enchanted arms right now too but im not really into it yet...that extremly OBVIOUSLY gay bard is given me the creeps....
i pre ordered lost odyssey the moment i saw the trailer about 6 months or more ago, been waitin for blue dragon since before 360 even launched lol.

ghostbusters looks surprisingly bad ass as well, and while id love to see a 3rd movie too, this can come just as close. I wanna slide some ghost traps out under someone in some multiplayer XD

lolHorses... forgot about that.

Halo 3 will be great, but over ratted I feel. Im also greatly considering getting a Wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii for the new Mario, Zelda TP, Final Fantasy, and Smash Brawl...

Would be neat if Ghostbusters came out for the Wii, jerk the nunchuck forward to slide a trap in, use the Wii remote to control your stream, yeah Wii will make all games better.

Still for sale Swishee... if your interested

:partytime:

I want a Wii now... damn you guys

I would buy a wii just for the new zelda, that game is more than amazing. To bad when my brother left he TOOK HIS FUCKING WII WITH HIM. Sorry...but yeah, get a wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii.

Doh thats what all my friends are saying too...

O well my birthday is in 10 days maybe my parents will get me a Wiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii

Just thought I'd mention, Sony owns the ghostbuster license and from what I hear now it's gonna be a PS3 exclusive in the end. They were trying to make for xbox but sony put a stop to that.

This is when Sony haters will start to whine how wickid and cold Sony is. It really would be dumb on Sony's part to just let their own rights go against them in the console war, when they can be using the very same hype to support the Playstation 3. That is if they allow the game to be released.

Another dumb idea from Sony. I hope they keep them comming. If they don't realease it for other consoles they're going to loose so much. Just to note, I wouldn't play the game if I had a PS3 so this isn't a "wah I wanted the game on a system I have" comment.

Well it's a strategy to build up exclusives with in house publishers so that people buy your console, then they buy games that comes out for all the consoles for your system. Nintendo for example has a lot of exlusives. If you're a Zelda fan, so hardcore that you MUST play Zelda, then you need to buy a Nintendo console.

If they released Zelda for PS3 and Xbox, then they'd make more money as a publisher, but then a lot less people would buy a Wii... and people who did buy a Wii would be upset, saying, "Why'd I buy a Wii when I could have played this on Xbox, and been playing Gears of War too?"

Right that's my point. However, using Ghostbusters as one of these tools is kind of dumb. I mean really, do you think the game will be that big of a hit? I'm thinking it's going to be pretty lame, like most every game made after a movie. Even if it's not, a Ghostbuster game doesn't just scream, "Buy meh prz!" You make your badass money exclusiving games like Gears, Zelda, etc. I'd figure a rule of thumb would be, make it exclusive if it looks to be something that will make a lot of people buy your system.

Maybe only a small market share will buy your system simply for ghostbusters, but you need to think of the system's exclusives as a total set.

They'll say, "Yeah, I can get ghostbuster, final fantasy 13, resistance: fall of man, white knight.... maybe I'll buy a PS3."

Afterall they have to compete with every Mario, Zelda, Metroid game that will come out for Wii only.

360 just has Gears of War and a jump timewise on PS3. PS3 will have Dead Rising and Elder Scrolls, cause Microsoft doesn't own the publishers.

I can't say i'm thrilled about Ghostbusters. Although when i was a child, Ghostbusters on Commadore 64 was a must.

There is indeed a time for games like this to port to all consoles for the benifit for the business. But keep in mind Sony needs more exclusives at this point of time. The leaked Ghostbusters tech footage recieved a warm reception, and delivered much praise to the 360, which is something Playstation needs right now, as they currently have the worst launch and library in console history.

Sony needs to +1 their mojo, and by doing that they need to have more exclusives. Even if it may result in not recieving the extra millions from the title being released on other consoles, the choice to make it PS3 exclusive will sell some systems, and also other games for it.

Making it for all 3 systems, or even 2 systems, would leave PS3's status at a stand still rather than a step into marketing stratagy/best interests.

That's what i think anyway. Who knows what Sony will do. Maybe they will have Sony Europe develop a Ghostbusters game to destroy the potentials the suspended Zootfly version has.

It's really to early to detect Sony's should and shouldn'ts I guess. As they only have a handful of titles on the shelf at this point. Right now, I'm just not to keen on the PS3 suceeding, I see sony loosing money big time and that is a fact as of now as well, because it doesn't have not one single good game out right now. I had small hope for Resistance but hell, after spending a couple of days with it, I'll just boot up UT 2004 again if I want to play a generic FPS. Looking at their game list, the new Final Fantasy would be the only reason I could see buying it but the way SE took X-2 and 12 I'm not holding my breath on it being a very good game either. 360 and Wii gets RE: 5 (An exclusive they should have hung on to...) I'm sure it will eventually go to PS3, like RE:4, but who can say for now. Sony's just not making the wisest of decisions with the PS3 and the way the console looks to progress, it's going to dick the fans... starting with Grand Turismo. They need to get it in gear for sure, as much as I hate Sony, as a corporation, I hate seeing a potentially good console go sour.

Mass Effect
Assassin's Creed
Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion (getting expansion)
GRAW (GRAW 2 coming soon)
Gears of War
Lost Planet
Halo Wars
Golden Axe
FEAR 2

All reasons to get a 360.

Some of those aren't exclusives, the ports just haven't been released yet. PS3 is getting Dead Rising, Saints Row, Elder Scrolls(should have been a launch title)... just look for stuff made by Microsoft studios as games that won't be ported. (Halo, GoW franchise.)

The edge that Microsoft has is that their own trademarks have had a year to churn out exclusives. The edge that PS3 has is that games designed for PS3 will be too powerful for Xbox eventually(As in, by end of this year.).

So in reality you're not paying 200 dollars more for a PS3, you're paying 200 more to not have to buy a Xbox 3 which will inevitably be released to compete with PS3 down the road. You're getting a Blue ray DVD player, which goes for a grand normally, as an added bonus.

And if you've got a few hours to install Linux on your PS3, you have access to every Nintendo and Snes game ever created, free of charge. =p

3 words man, Gears of War. Only reason you need to get a 360. That looks pretty dec though too.

oh pshaw :P there's plenty of other reasons. Halo 3 (when it comes out), Dead Rising (so much fun), Lost Planet, Oblivion, Lost Odyssey, etc :P

and ya, more and more I want a 360 these days x.x and so far Wii and PS3 both don't offer enough for me to want one XD (still giving it awhile though, 360 has had a year longer).
