Chasym,

could you explain again how you can get another players IP? or why its there?

in a standard client server application; all communication is routed through the server. so then all communication in FF11 should be to and from a player's client and the server, and only that.

are you trying to say that ff11 works like a peer to peer application where player clients communication directly with each other?

or maybe your saying that ff11 is a client server app, but the ff11 servers send irrelevant information to clients? what use is another players IP to a client if the client cant directly communicate with it? I seriously doubt this or any other game would purposefully slow down their network by sending useless data to their clients.

well im out to bed with work in the morn, Rendering a video uploading two oldies, on with proph telling kireek to use fleetool on vent at KB and some other crap i found, lookin through old files is fun.

Fuck Outterheaven. You had fun. It was good for you. Great. Yay. Fuck you. You all destroyed the north american endgame landscape on this server by founding it on a lie and now it's beyond repair, dominated by your mentality sans the end-of-life epiphanies that you were finally graced with. Everyone who'se ever dealt with your pathetic endgame race spawned from Prophecy's limp pecker held up by fleetooling kites and firestreak's prolapsed double-blind pussy knows everything that you typed. So you're the dealer, you say. I got the pawns, and I'll take the pawns gladly.

You don't have to regret it. You don't have to be sorry. But you must know that you shunted the entertainment of others onto yourself, cheapened their entertainment by falsely raising the bar beyond what you and real players deserved, and for that you need not be sorry. You simply are sorry. You took someone else's entertainment from them to heighten yours. That is perhaps the most singularly dispicable act I can think of in the entire sphere of having fun. You ruined the game. Fuck you. If I could have stood the lot of you for a few more months, things would have ended very. Very. Differently.

Quit dealing. I'd say thanks for playing, but you never did.

What part of flee hacking is similar to robbing a bank?

The part where robbing a bank is a violation of established rules agreed upon by the members of said community. Just like hacking is a violation of the rules you agree to abide by every single time you log into FFXI. It seems like a bad analogy because you're focusing on the degree of severity of the infraction as it relates to its real-world reprecussions. However, if you look at just the structure of the argument, they are exactly the same...An individual willfully choosing to break a general community rule to find favor with a niche within that community. Essentially, it comes down to relativists vs. absolutists, which should be pretty easy to figure out whom is playing which part in this drama.

Maybe this will help you understand Neo's point on the matter. And please don't think that I am trying to label Neo here, just illustrating a point. In the Bible there is a passage (can't remember exactly where) that basically says that all sin is equal in the eyes of God. Sin is sin. Wrong is wrong. The degree is irrelevant. The point Jesus was making with his analogy is that everyone is required to ask forgiveness of every sin, regardless of what they think about its severity and that God forgives all sins equally, regardless of their severity. Now before anyone tries to twist what I am saying...I am not trying to "Christianize" this argument, I'm merely illustrating a point with fairly well-known concepts. Also, I am a dyed-in-the-wool atheist, so there is no ulterior motive here. Lastly, I don't know Neophytal from Adam and he doesn't know me either. I don't think I've even been in the same zone as him in the entire 3 years that I played this game.

I already had a career in a sport dominated by cheaters. Every major form of entertainment I've ever been a huge part of has its upper-end capped by humanity, and you don't know how disgusting that is until you eat it for years. I step off the track and meet these sorry bunch of losers. Steroids I can't compete with until their balls are the size of peas and I'm taking their cancer out asking them where their damn 45 second 400 meter dash is now. But gamers? Even with the hacks they're easily taken.

Since Peregrine's here, can we move the topic back to Scrubs?

Is 45 seconds really steroid worthy? ;x I don't know much about track but I do know a high school kid who can do 48 second 400 meters >.>

I'm guessing that 45seconds is pretty darn good... when you consider NFL players run the 40m(which is the standard their speed is usually judged on), the fastest players will be like 3.9, the average skill player(RBs, WRs, DBs) is like 4.2... 10x that is 42seconds on the 400 meter, and maintaining that speed over 10x the distance is probably a lot more difficult.

On Topic: Hax are bad, mm'kay?

48's are infinitely more common than 45's, but you're right. 45's line the national championship heats like it's nothing.
