I still consider you and gray good friends. Gray and I used to talk all the time before her computer went poopie on itself. I'm sorry it had to be like this and I'm sorry you had to leave the game. You were and are a great person to talk to. I'm just a little peeved that I didn't know. And that I was naiive enough to not realize what was going on.

but ill still consider you and langly good friends too, and gray shoudl be back on the net around xmas. and while OH seems to be the poster shell for hacking, its cause they were the only ones who made it obvious ^^

LAME. Who has time for this? Sounds like something out of a herpes commercial where some lady is rock climbing or doing something else which symbolizes her independence, then out of nowhere she blurts out "I HAVE HERPES." The music gets all serious and you hear a voice over "...there is no cure," cue inspirational music "but treatment is available." Then it cuts to a shot of the bitch on a beach and a guy runs up behind her and puts his arms around her. Good job dumbass, you're dating a skank with herpes.

So... someone clarify for me, this isn't an attack really but it may come off as that.

It's ok to a marginal portion of the community that someone hacks (let alone creates hacks) so long as it's someone who's known on the boards and in general a decent guy but anyone else CCing you, RMTing, or busting your chops at HNMs not so much?

I think the better question is, what would yelling and screaming and getting pissed off actually do at this point? He admitted everything, he knew it was wrong, I see no reason to tell him what he already knows.

In my case, I don't complain about RMT or getting CC'ed. It made the game more interesting. Plus, end game sucks was never fun anyways.

Chasym, that's so cool. You never really knew me, but I saw your posts and I think your a really funny person. I totaly agree with your way of thinking, as many of the others don't. You remind me of me, an older me, but I want to learn those skills that you displayed, I think that whole package and you are awesome. :)

On the way of thinking, this is just a game. Everyone gets mad at cheating? Like all these people never cheated before. On a math test in grade school, in a card game, what ever. Chasym never cheated anybody and screwed anyone over, it was all to his own profit. It really is a win-win cenario.

I think you're totaly awesome Chasym, you kind of inspired me to learn the ways of the computer... so far i'm at the Start button.

Like i said i'm sure it's because:

A.) He's a board celebrity.
B.) He's not known *for* being an asshole even tho we all have the propensity.
C.) He kept his shit on the DL until now.

But i mean ... almost every other thread here is about 'zomg RMT/hacks/etc' and the board immediately blackballs said user, in this instance not much of that going on but .. iono, seems dirty. Not that i'm advocating trashing him based on principle but .. kinda shifty set of values, IMO, for the board/community to have.

Edit: and yes i know the board isn't really a great barometer for the server but it's still a valid point, i think.

i thinks its because people get more mad and talk more crap when the person flat out denies it, like i have if accused for a long time (i was only accused twice, Peregrine and eleibfrid) admitting it kinda puts whats left to say at a halt i guess
