Little midgard history for you; I understand that you guys have your "bazaar mall" in Upper Jueno. Well, Midgard's WAS in Rolanberry. I went out to rolanberry to check since us midgard people never moved ours indoors, I don't think anyone wanted to clog up lower jueno.

Well? Rotfl, I think some midgard folk have restarted the Rolanberry Mall!

Ours was out in Batallia Downs back when the Jeuno bazaar tax was in place.
 
Lol brings a tear to my eye seeing that.
 
I actually was running around last night trying to figure out where the bazaar mall was on Quetz. Never found it, but didn't think to check Upper Jeuno. Only checked the three outside zones and Ru'Lude. Where in Upper Jeuno do most of the bazaars hang out? Near the guidestone? Near the Whitegate warp guy? Somewhere else?

Heck, I'll probably still bazaar in Rolanberry. Half the server is still going to look there first. :)

On Quetz it's pretty much the entire path from the guidestone until the first auction house in Upper Jeuno. It's actually really annoying, but such is life.
 
ds083roadkill: Lol. I run at 1024X768 foreground, two steps up from 800X600 overlay and use official windowed mode. Believe me that's NOT 800X600. I tried pushing overlay higher but made things hard to read for me so I gave up and turned it back down.

Divinus: It's against the walls, right past the guidestone. Zaltana cued me in on that then I went to go check rolanberry since I know all of us, at heart are creatures of habit .(Thanks for explaining it a bit more, rappa.) I just found it funny that there's two "malls" now. XD

Rolanmart (as it's come to be called) will probably die out eventually. I would highly doubt that native Quetz people are going to suddenly start moving out to Rolanberry, but would very much assume that Midgard people will eventually "break habit" and start to use Upper Jeuno.

For us Midgard people, it's just going to be yet another sign of the end of an era.
 
La Pulga in Batallia Downs was the highlight of my time on Quetz. It felt kind of awkward to see everyone start sitting in Upper Jeuno once the Jeuno taxe was obliterated.
Although this makes me wonder if Pandemonium bazaars in a different place than Asura. We have a Rolanmart.
 
Quetz will never move their bazaar area. Besides, upper jeuno is better because it's much closer if you're warping from whitegate to jeuno, then it's just one zone down. Rolanberry is a much further place to walk to unless you're always hanging out in lower jeuno like people used to do preToAU days. Now.. I wonder which crazy server out there has their bazaar shops around port jeuno/sauromugue champaign area.
 
That's exactly what Ezhno said, he point blank asked me since I'd gotten awful quiet. (And he wanted a tele anyway.)

(Yes that's one of my friends from Midgard. Don't worry, he's a nice guy too.)

I just find it amusing for the moment tho, since I know people aren't dumb, Rolanmart will die. It's already a LOT lighter than it used to be on midgard as I recall so as soon as those people figure out "hey, I'm in the wrong spot!"....
 
By royal decree the new Bazaar zone is now Uleguerand Range
 
On my original server (Hades), it was out in Rolanberry. When I moved to Quetz, I had to get used to the fact that it was in Batilla lol. Then after the tax was removed, it was moved inside to Upper Jeuno. Not like I play anymore, but it would be quite annoying if there were two marts to check :x. I think Quetz is too stubborn to move though lmao.

Fairy server had their own rolemart too, I wonder now if its changing cause they did a move too.
 
I'm puzzeled why everyone else gets higher res. screen shots then I do. The fore & background is 1980x1024 & 1024x1024...but the pics come out 524x382 which looks like crap.
 
I'll miss the Rolanberry Mall. Now I'll have to get used to people being in the way and lagging it up in the city. Booooooo.
 
I don't play anymore but I do miss the children of the corn too. lol We all have our own bazaaring habits but at least everyone knows the two major places to look for the bazaar malls now.
