kaz has killed JOL 2 times. We have killed JOL 2 times. to my knowledge jda has tried but didn't kill JOL and perseverance is getting ready to fight JOL.
Yes it completely luck, but it not like we didnt try.

edit: it come to my attention jda has killed jol 4 times and questfantasy has killed atleast 2 times. goverment might have poped AV before? Also there seem to be a jp ls that has killed AV? Can anyone confirm that? Drop where Aureole and Raphael's Rod anyone seen them around?

Congrats on AV.

-I think people are looking at it from the wrong angle maybe. Yes, it RANDOMLY pops, just like for example, herald gaiters RANDOMLY drops off Tiamat. It's not like 2 crews with identical TH are both going to get heralds, but you can be enthusiastic that it dropped for 1 group even if it is all about luck.

Maybe 1 group got love torque, another group got a chance to fight the strongest mob in the game. It's not a competition so there's no reason to try and downplay each other's accomplishments.

Not wynavs. SE said killing all of JOL's pops weakens AV's regen. I don't know if it means every single thing JOL can pop, or just having no pops active while JOL is killed. Probably the latter because I think JOL's pops are endless.

i meant it in the aspect that people are talking like when it popped we shouldnt have tried and just let it depop because it wasnt during NA hours and not enough NA were on to call in. like i said, at least we tried instead of just doing that

jol pops in 3s he will pop 3 shark 3 fish then 3 squid. after he pop each type 3 times it will just pop sharks. Jol be easy if it was not the fact he has umteen billion hp.

I guess congrats on grabbing claim I don't know 48 times for possibly not getting the item or even killing a mob is a little crappy in my book.

I figured atleast one person would come on here an try to make it seem like popping AV isnt that big of deal. I think anyone that does sea would be happy being able to have a shot at AV; Alot of people work hard in our linkshell to be able to have this opportunity. And people dont see it as "oh he popped for us so we are better than you." People from both linkshells that do sea wished us luck as we would for them if he popped for them. Why you would bring negativity into this thread and you dont even do sea is beyond me. On another note the night he popped we just werent prepared or thinking he would pop. We only had maybe 15 people there and only 3 blms so there was no way to make an attempt. Was fun to actually see him and get to play around with him and trying to see how much dd it takes to actually take out the wyverns.

Well seeing that you want to wait on the Av thing seems about right. You want to wait to find a linkshell that can kill it; join and get drops then leave? Or was that someone else who got an E body and left the linkshell? hmm..

we played with it for a bit; chi blast did around 1400 damage (took it to 99% lol.) BLM Tier 2 AM did around 600. SA gekko did like 600. figured wyverns have around 6k hp each.
 
i edited page 5 post #42. Anyway Ive heard that a jp ls has killed AV on this server and drop was Raphael's Rod and Aureole. Just wondering have anyone seen them around?

Never did a serious offense so 99% the lowest I saw it get too, always due to 1 person hitting it hard (nuke, weaponskill, etc..)

In my defense, all I can say is that nobody... Absolutely (no pun intended) NOBODY was expecting--let alone, prepared for--Absolute Virtue to spawn.

Antares, Kaizen, Integralis, Perseverance, Purpose... None of us can take him in our current state.

And honestly? You can contest me and my opinion all you want on this. By saying "Oh (Such-And-Such) Linkshell could take it, no prob!" But really, that's nothing more than another opinion in itself, not fact.

No. I'm not.

I'm saying that because I've been playing this game since NA Release, and I know how you all play. Eventually, someone will be able to kill Absolute Virtue, but I stick by my opinion that nobody was prepared for him on That Particular Night.
 
Our server is seriously behind every other server. I'm rather sure no one could take him. Hell, even the very best LS's on the other servers with several relic weapons have a hard time taking him down atm.

Congrats though for popping him ^^ Wish I could have been there xD

And damn it, don't use the other pop sets untill Friday when I can be on! -.-;
