I was in a party with Halley (he was powerleveling with Raryn, maybe a second character i dont know) and i finally saw that he was lotting Beast Seals, so i joined in. When i finally won one he told me to not waste my time lotting, it was going to drop to him anyway, and sure enough it did (no my inventory wasn full).

So Im curious, i asked him and a GM, How does someone lose a lot on an item (424-125), force it out of the treasure pool 60 seconds after it drops (pool was full and some people did lot/pass so it shouldnt have dropped), and have the item drop to them?

I have played this game for too long and this is the first time ive seen it, has anyone else seen this? or know how its done? I claim third party programs, he says its legal but refuses to tell me. Does anyone know this player to be a hacker... or know them at all? Im quite curious at this point. any info on this whole occurance would be appreciated.

Thanks
Jedi.

Probably quartermastered him/herself to receive all the items, and this is sounding a bit like a flame too.

Oh i shouldve added there was no quartermaster dot, and crystals and such were dropping to everyone, just seals went to him.

This can be moved, i dont care, i am just curious as to how this happens.

While Quartermaster is on, items go directly to the designated person, not to the treasure pool.

The exception to this is if the designated person's inventory is full, or if it is a rare item that person already has.

But yeah, more on topic: can't say I've ever heard of this happening before. Sounds suspicious >.>

might as well take this to flame cause that piece of shit has already been talked about on there and this isnt surprising considering its this garbage.

Yeah, moving the the flameboard. I looked up the other Halley thread, it was intense.

I don't think there's any way to explain this away, lol. Even QM during a party is just widely accepted as wrong.

Something fishy going on here =/ How many of said items did he obtain?

Never heard anything like this before, sounds weird.

I really dont know how many seals he made out with. I was only in the party for 45 minutes or so and didnt even notice he was lotting the seals until the end, but he was lotting them, and even the one time i won he still got it. i talked to him for a while after i called a GM and he wouldnt say how he did it, just that i was "thinking too hard about it." He insisted it wasnt a 3rd partry program but would say what he was doing.

Thanks for the info on this jack ass, ive seen all i need to see. The GM said he reported him to the special task force, so hopefully they will take care of the trash.

If it's not a mutual agreement amoungst the party, I usually question why someone is lotting seals. If they come up with a shit answer, it's no biggie: I just drop the party.
Of course, leveling and meriting jobs that are on a lot of "most wanted" lists, I'm allowed to do this with little consequence. But I even did it a few times getting my DRK to 37, and just FoV'd until I got another invite.

If this is possible, this would kind of annoy me when doing campaign unions, and some greedy dick head just comes along and takes all of the items regardless of whether or not they won the lot. Especially when it's something of higher value such as 100cc or wootz ores...

wow sounds like a whore. partied with this he/she/man recently and what a bitch i telll ya!

Seems it can be a douche just because it has a PL. I would slap a whore

~its a he.
~the taru's an apparent friends account that passed away.
~and no, i'v never seen that happen in the years i'v been playing, sounds 100% not legit. :shok:

Fucking dick the guy is.

Where is chasym at? Seems possible.

Ive been noticing a trend in union thats been backed by several friends of people lotting union treasure with multiple lots of 950+

Im not saying thats the case here but it seems possible that the update made the treasure pool hackable.

Wasnt there a lotting bot back in the day when lotting was done client side??? and i believe they made it server side in response???

my info may be wrong, that was a long time ago.

I agree, theres been instances where ive seen ONE character lot 950+ on every single item, namely dynamis currency that drops. And yes I remember there being a program that told you when to lot so you would get the higher lot as well.

Lots/Rolls are server side, fuck with them and it'll set bells and whistles off.

About Quartermaster, are you sure you know how it works?

I'm pretty positive it sounds as if he turned it on and off quickly. It doesn't matter if loot is already in the pool, the Quartermaster does not cast lots while it's active, they pass the items into their inventory. As you said, only some people passed or lotted, so it shouldn't have dropped.

I just can't see a "lotting program" being the issue here. It'd be like calling a GM and flee hacking him a tour of all the cells in Mordion.

I know the guy's a douche, I had to put up with his sour attitude yesterday.
