Ok, I'm leveling up NIN a bit, and I know the Ni elemental wheel is great for holding hate. How useful is the Ichi wheel though? It seems almost pointless since there's hardly time between Utsusemi recasts to do the wheel. Any advice or tips?

Ichi's suck, I just spammed it to level ninjitsu skill, now that it's capped I never touch the ichi's except to setup for a skill chain or MB off the skillchain(for an almighty 15 damage). They're not worth the 3-4 second cast time for 0-10 damage.

It's not so bad to keep a few on you though, so you can help the SC and MB to be less resisted. Use the apprioate tool for each ws/sc.

Sucks, but try using it to keep ninjitsu capped each level, then stop....Because it sucks.
I agree with everyone else. Though, truth be told, I don't even need to use elemental ninjitsu to keep my skill capped anymore. The debuffs I have now+utsusemi are enough to cap it, or near cap it, by the time I level. By near cap I mean a few poiints off which then next level I will make up for and cap it. But that has just been my experiance for the last few levels(though I am still fairly low on NIN if you think about it).
