I don't normally respond to Xzerpers posts anymore as hes an attention whore and these threads are just something to keep him amused. I actually don't have anything really useful to add to this thread, its just astonishing to me that hes even complaining about what he views as a 'bad rdm'.
Let me spell it out for you. Xzerper doesn't use MP gear because:
He absolutely REFUSES to Haste Ridillberk WARs.
Very bad with refreshing people and needs to be reminded again and again.
He is accurate with landing enfeebles but that didn't stop him from bitching at the LS for not coming all the way to sky to raise him when he wiped to Zipacna.

Red mage or not I think most jobs have multiple sets of gear whether it be for magic skill or stat boosting.
You have people who are very dedicated to their job(s) and will have those multiple sets and then you will find those who only use one set of gear because it works out very well for them. Perhaps in between those, you would find people who don't really care as long as their main function is fulfilled with or without additional gear.
New RDMs are being forced to main heal due to reasons whether it be lack of WHM or SCH or even BLM or SMN in exp/merit parties. So if they are to main heal and haste and enfeeble...lets say in a party of 6, out of those 5 are melee. Even if you decide to haste each and every single one including yourself, give them all the best buffs and enfeeble, and on top of that heal, thats a huge MP sink.
Thats at least 240mp gone just from hastes alone. Debuffing with the bare minimum, and then the healing would make it more taxing on the MP pool.
If this is their main task on RDM, then having more MP would seem more beneficial. Hence, this is what you would see more often from them.
Being forced to main heal could make them to slack off on their other primary task to enfeeble the mob. That would mean their enfeebling skill would be underleveled which leads to ineffective debuffs.

Ask anyone I've merited with. If I refuse to haste you it's because your being a whore and asking for it as soon as it wears every time it wears, when it wears, when I am midcast and can't cast right away.
Why would me not having MP gear be a reason not to refresh people? I don't even party with Riddleberk WARs because they feed the mobs TP and are MP sinks due to hate. Fail any?
Bad with refreshing people? I don't refresh DRKs less their MP low, BRD's dont need refreshed because I barely see them cure anyways.
Bitching when I wipe to Zipacna? I've only ever once wiped to Zip, nor does anyone exist on my LS Legion, when I am anywhere in Sky. Because its a Sea LS only. Fail again?
If I bitched to my LS about that, there would be no one there to answer. And if its Limbus I am in Port, not in Sky, and thats the only time People are on my shell. Fail again?
