Why do you even care what we do? lol. We don't have 24/7 coverage. We can rarely camp stuff due to people working. Sorry if end-game isn't our life like HappyAngel, but that's the way it is. Doesn't stop us from showing up when we can, trying, and having some pretty good success aside from an accident. As stated before, even "pros" like yourself claim a Darter every now and then. I didn't lose any sleep over it and I'm pretty sure no one else did either. So get over it.

As for ratting him out, I'd rather have people in my LS that I can depend on to prioritize and think. Stranding an xp party for buffer xp I could have provided solo . . . is NOT good prioritization.

I hate it when ppl ditch from parties. IRL situation are on thing. Spur of the moment LS reasons are another. Most LSs will understand that u are exping.

I have to tell you, that's what bothers me about Shel's behavior the most - as an LS, we don't do spur of the moment things. That's my job, since I can leave off meriting Bst at any moment and lend a hand, and be all that's really necessary 9 out of 10 times. Were it not for the fact that I was xp-ing Blm at the time(or rather, watching a Whm skilling their Divine Magic on the gobbie pet I desperately wanted to kill . . .), I'd have been more than happy to swap jobs and lend our Pld friend a hand.

By and large, we're a social LS - we provide sort of an after-hours lounge for ppl to come home to and talk about their days, organize statics and missions, and to provide advice and instruction to folks just starting out.

We're a happy little, pleasantly dysfunctional family.

I have to admit though, my own doubts aside about how Shel came into that Osode, he's been a growing source of friction among many of our more established members.
 
The guy's a total butthole for doing something so stupid...but...you guys sortof overreacted over him being so. =/
 
Not considering how long it took to get the pt together, travel to where we were going (Rappa changed from MNK to WHM to tele us then ran back to Kazham), and the fact that this is not a first time occurence, it isn't that unreasonable to be pissed. And like Rappa said, he didn't freak until after Shel had already left.

It might've been overreacting if we'd gotten a good hour out of the party at least. But we only got about 15 minutes. A few people had used xp bands so they pretty much wasted them. And now that it's over and we know where he really went, it just makes it worse. I feel bad for the jp blm, he was so nice about everything and really has no idea what happened. You can't really explain this situation in auto-translate very well.
 
It does suck trying to explain things to Japanese players when shit like this goes down. I don't blame you guys for being pissed. It's happened to me b4 where I get called out to party, get to camp, pop a Tav taco and my emp band then 10 mins later... Party Member: "I'm sleepy".. Leader: Ok lets disband.... WTF i just ate a 7k, 30min food you jackass.

One time when Rise was camping KA, we claimed and killed.

We got 2x cloth drops.

We let Vang lot on the cloths to sell them and distribute the gil.

Vang didn't have inventory space after everyone else passed.

We lost both cloths and Vang paid us straight from his pocket.

OnTopic: That sucks what happened you two. People like that just make it even harder for smart people to advance quicker when they know they should.
 
I remember partying with she a while back in Qufim when he first started leveling monk. Party was going on for like 15 min when he said he had to go cause it was his little brothers birthday party or something.


Didn't really matter that much I guess since it was just a Qufim PT. And yeah he's a total gilbuyer.
 
SORRY FOR NECROING, but i shall of saw this post before i invited him into my cop static. He "black out" on the static when we gather up for first time, and "black out" again right before we ready for BCNM snoll. So we ends up having 5 people hanging there, and look for last minute helps from LS friend, lucky we got passed those BCNM. Now he said he done those BCNM already, so he can come with us for next mission.

LOL Since when are KB drops insane when there's no ring...

Anyway, this douche AFK'd after 10 minutes in a party I was in and said he'd be back in 5 min. Half an hour goes by and he's still AFK. We replace him and he's still AFK after an hour.

Jeez, you guys are lucky Rappa & Mirewen. At least he actually told you he was leaving, instead of pussy footing around while AFK.
