If you out TP'ed a mnk, that was just a shitty monk. Sorry...Had to mention that.

it really is a status symbol, even thought the +4 acc is great from having 2, at the price they go for its pretty dumb to think they are worth what they are.
Svina said:Life belt is 50k and gives as much acc as 2 sniper rings. SH or Haubergeon can give that kinda extra acc for less money than 1 sniper+1 (we're talking way more than an extra +2).
Svina said:Look at all the NM drops that are specifically non-crafted. The campers have no risk in losing materials or anything... so I guess they feel just cause the last price was 1mil, to jack it to 2mil, and then 3mil, and so on till a shitty easy to obtain item is worth as much as something like say a PCC. Why does the price -have- to go up? Well it doesn't, but people know they can get more for it...so they let greed get to 'em and hike the price up even more. That is one thing I will never do, is hike a price for no apparent reason. I could easily say OH GEE I CAN GET 4mil FOR A SNIPER+1 HAR HAR LETS DO IT CAUSE I WANTZ MORE MONEIEZ...
Um how is it your HQ when we provide the material for your manthran ass? everything your useing to make the synth belongs to us except your craft skill. So your going to make the argument ( Skill > Recources and People) If you gank people like this in real life, you should be shot. I wonder what will happen when we peons stop providing ass hats such as yourself with materials on the AH, then your skill is worthless!Svina said:. . .someone else would be happy to watch their HQ pissed away into your hands. We made a contract, and you'll follow through with it.
No the problem is outright greed! 2 million gratuity on a 3.5 million item!Kat said:Btw, 17% of 3.5mil is 595,000. Y'all are bitchin' about 500k and you're not even giving a 17% gratuity. Shame on you!!!!!

I don't know about you but when I tip I don't tip 50% and upwards of the fee's you've already just payed. Ontop of that the mechanic gets payed to do his job no matter what, so that example is a bit off. Asking 500 K to sinth a sniper ring is a tad much considering it's alomst 100 % of the item price. Also if we break this down even farther Sivana claims to have lost 25 million on his craft. If we do some simple math, we find that Sivana is chargning us almost 5 % of his claimed crafting loss for a simple sniper synth, when he doesn't even have any fucking risk involved! Break it down even further his atrotious HQ fee of 2 million.. he is charging us almost 12 and half % of his crafting loss in 1 synth, in which he had nothing at risk! Sorry but thats just wrong, if he was trying to run a real buisness he would fold in no time!Kat said:I'm gonna break this down in RL terms for y'all:
You have a car. It breaks down. So you have to take it to the shop to get fixed. You need to pay for parts AND LABOR to get your car back fixed. If they do a really kick ass job, you're car runs better than before you even brought it in (ie. an HQ). I don't know about you guys, but I do tip my mechanic.
Now, lets take a snipers ring. You bring the parts to the crafter. The crafter with the skill to synth this for you is able to HQ it. Now, if there was no hq then you're not charged for labor if I'm reading this right. But, if there is an HQ involved then the crafter wants extra for doin' a better job. I don't blame them. Think of it as a 17% gratuity like what you'd pay your waitress at a restaurant. Don't think of it as the crafter trying to screw you. Think of it showing appreciation to your crafter.
Food for thought.

It seems only a few crafters grasp the importance of customer relations, you have to give to get! And sticking your nose up in the air and yelling if you don't like it go somewhere else, is not a good welcome.
If you would have read back you would have noticed my first post was mentioning that I have all crafts except fishing and cooking to lvl 60 and I plan on pushing goldsmithing to 100. So this is not bitching at all, I feel I can speak for both sides because I have been in both places.Kat said:Yoshindor, how the hell do you think he leveled that craft skill to 100??? You think he just got up one day and his leathercraft was magically 100?
OMG, you people honestly drive me NUTS sometimes!!!! If you think you can do better than spend the gil yourself and level it!!!! Then you have a bitch.
It's cases like this where I can tell the majority of you are just kids, or young adults where Mommy and Daddy are paying your way thru College etc. UGHHHH!!!!
